Time to cut the cord

I remember the nickname for Chris Connolly used to be minibus (half a coach). Well Longmuir has to be Minibus MkII. Absolutely could have put your house on it Fremantle would ambush themselves into thinking they’re superior to Carlton and this would be a walk in the park.

Good teams put bad ones away and boost percentage. Not this club.

Weird how badly we start. 12-1 against in centre clearances first half and then come good. They are actually becoming the 4th quarter specialist.

Losing Young didn’t help, though I didn’t see him do much prior to going down.

Carlton’s pressure and tackling amazing nearly until the end.

It would be nice to be able to relax before the last 2 minutes of the game.

Hang onto Longmire for mine.

This dated well.

No way Fremantle will win a flag under Longmuir and if they don’t show some balls it will be a wasted opportunity. Longmuir lacks a hard edge and is uninspiring.

Recall meeting a former premiership player just after Ross the boss got fired. I asked him what do you think about Longmuir and Sumich? He said he played under Longmuir as an assistant coach. Said he was ok but didn’t see him as a senior coach.

Vossy has a hard edge and it doesn’t help him with his wonderful list.

I sometimes wonder.
Great after game presser by Longmuir as well.
I am sure the players played for the team, the supporters , themselves and the coach.
He made some very telling moves to get the team back.
But, as they say the h…

I never rated Voss as a coach but listening to Longmuir nearly puts me to sleep. I think there has shown to be too many cracks in his coaching through lackluster performances over his journey with what is regarded as a very good list.

He obviously didn’t prepare the team well in the first half and it took Carlton to wake everyone up including the coach at half time.

And clearly the Fremantle hiearchy aren’t convinced of his credentials with 1 year extensions being tacked on in the last 12 months just so he’s not coaching through a season coming out of contract.

Shoulda finished 3rd and a double chance but some are satisfied with 6th. Can Longmuir and some of the players and some Fremantle supporters resist drinking their own bath water for a couple of weeks? That is the dirty habit they have to break.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda, didn’t. Get over your dislike of Longmuir and a couple of others D.D
A supposed Dockers supporter!!! Gimmee a break.

Get over your obsession with me stalker. I’m entitled to my opinion that’s what chat boards are for, a concept you have never grasped. Legend in your own mind.

If courese you are, but as am I. Not an obsession just not agrreeing with your opinion.
It is after all a discussion site.

No you don’t you attempt to mock anyone’s opinion that hurts your thin skin. That’s not engaging in discussion and debate. If you haven’t learnt that by now you never will but I’d just prefer not to engage with you at all so if you could reciprocate it would be much appreciated.

I tried using the ignore function but found everytime I posted on the Fremantle thread guess who’s hidden comment replied everytime with a childish comment.

Speaking of childish… have you looked in the mirror?
But gladly, I will not reply to your ludicrous posts DD.

There you go.

Yes Fremantle won and quite predictable but listen to Brad Hardie from 19 minutes in comments about Long pants.

Really good match and win by Freo.
Liked how Darcy took full posessions at boundry and centre bouncedowns.Keeping the footy of the fast moving bulldogs
Murphy Reiid looks a star.A teenage Fyfe.
Loved the way Amiss and Fredericks took their game to a higher level.
Cox and Treasy where also excellent.
And the top 6 players who performed well.
Second week of the finals looks a minimum from here for Freo.

Dockers need to hang on to Erasmus. He is just starting to find his feet in the team as a strong on baller

Totally agree Mike. I was not a fan last year and the couple of early runs he got this season, but of late he is setting the bar pretty high.I think the club have to re-sign him.
With He and Johnson playing similar roles, the big man at stoppages is filled with these two. May even free up Jackson as well.

Anchorman do you think Liam Reidy will be at Freo,2026.
AFL ruckmen are in huge demand.
Great trade bait if Freo want to trade.
Wouldn’t be surprised if another Afl club .Doesn’t have a crack at LR.
