Sorry GTR, but I liken him to Scott Jones that was on the Dockers list for a fair time.Was always a dominant player at WAFL level for Peel. But never quite reached the level required.At WAFL, East Perth, level now, after all the years since he left , he has dominated the WAFL rucks.But some make it, some don’t

Like me GTR you watch a lot of WAFL and would know Reidy is one of the dominant ruckmen in the WAFL. Dragged Peel back into the game against us a couple of times a few weeks ago in Mandurah.
He is wasting his time at Fremantle with the two in front of him locked away for many years.

Didn’t play well early in the season.When he played for Freo..But the whole team struggled early this season.

I watched him against Swans and he dominated but he didnt really have a lot of competition TBH. I wonder if he does enough around the ground. Then again look what has happened to Meek since he went to Hawthorn
I think you hit the nail on the head Mike. From what I have seen of him is that he doesn’t make enough contests. And I think that is the same reason Brodie doesn’t get a game.
Meek is totally different to Reidy. Sadly there was no place for him when Freo recruired Jackson.
Pre Jacko, I think Longmuir was prepared to run with Darcy and use players like Treacy as the second stringer.
To run too big rucks like Darcy and Meeks would not work in my opinion.
But have to say I am pleased that Meek has made his mark on the game.

Of course they should gtr. Carlton the obvious one you would think with De Koning gone. Fremantle fkd up at the end of last season delisting Max Knoble thinking they could put him back on then Gold Coast said thank you very much.
Now the cupboard will be bare with no backup and they’ll have to add another green young ruckman or look at someone like Teakle.

Time for Justin to man up and take the hit and fall on his sword. The body of evidence is overwhelming if it wasn’t already and anyone needed convincing. But some are just slow and will never learn.
As I said on the other thread R and B, Hardwick had a plan to take the sting out of the Dockers and he succeeded spectacularly. What did we get in response from Longmuir? Slow conservative play which made it easy for the Suns to shut them down. Only in the last quarter when they had nothing to lose did they revert to take the game on. Then when they got the lead, more dumb footy to allow Mac Andrew a run at the ball

Exactly mike and if they continue on with this coach it will be a wasted opportunity with this list. My guess is those who have backed him in to the hilt don’t have the courage to make the tough call.
And might I add, David Walls is one of the best list managers going around. The wagons might be circling this club.

I’ve said in the past that Freo will never win a flag with JL as coach. Nothing I’ve seen recently has changed that opinion.

What does confuse me about JL
When Freo are behind they start to play ,attacking football.
As Gold Coast did all night.TBO Freo done well to take the lead late in the game.
Alex Pearce last qtr was huge.
Anderson and Rowell won in the midfield.
Loss of Amiss was huge.
Fredericks went missing again.After a great match vs The Bulldogs.
Speaking about Coaches.Sam Mitchell and Damian Hardwick ,Jack Mcrae..Are seriously good coaches.
