Subi v Cl

Clark in for Mott. Richards and Evitt out for the ressies, injured again I’d say, hard to tell as the injury list hasn’t been updated since R&B got up the wafl about the slackness of S and Sd

Has R & B finished his 4 week holiday,Chief?

He thinks so but is in no hurry to be back

Any Subi fans give us a chance to win this?

I’m looking forward to seeing how Rickson plays against Eastland in these conditions.

I love seeing (although it’s BS) the full forward line of Borchet, Sokol, Mayo.

Not a Subi fan but I give you a real good chance Frothy on what I saw last week.

I’m hopeful. Will be close.

Evitt injured. Soft tissue.

Tiges on the rebound will be tough but we are a tackling side so if it’s wet it should suit us

How about Richards JL?

No Hendersons playing in the reserves…?

Nopeee

Hmmm, maybe have come in as emergencies…?

Yeah looks that way, that means two big men out

Sokol and Borchet out

Bloody hell

Damn, lost another close one. Should’ve won that one. Great effort though, two key forwards missing and Eastland dominating plus the blind mice. Spewing

Yeah, was a spewing kind of game. But the vibe is still good. The rooms had a real bonding feel. We’re still in the hunt and especially for next year.

That’s 3 games lost by 3 points each I’m told.

Still in the race for the 5, that’s all you can ask for as a supporter, hopefully these 3 pt losses don’t come back to bite us at the end of the day. Big game next week v the D’s

another 4 points on the table.

very frustrating when you are better for longer, but it came down to them kicking it through the middle sticks when needed, and us kicking through the side sticks.

this side and game is clearly good enough to beat anyone, they just need to believe and understand how to win.

Sokol and Borch double out told.

Douglas should have kicked 4, in a perverse kind of break out game.

either coaches or leaders failed to hold Rogers accountable late: he went loose d50 and had about 5 intercepts.

3 w hickmont 2 Pat Malone 1 m corbett

Looking briefly at replay, you can see Rogers got away in the last quarter. Will Hickmont is moving the best he has for about 5 years when he was just coming into the scene. Really covering the grass nicely.

Schoey mentioned belief. I’d add mental toughness and focus. Let’s hope the two Hendos can find their feet. Backman Hendo had a good game. Forward Hendo should improve.

I think on-field leadership gets close games done.

Bailey Rogers exhibit A.

im old fashioned but from the stands, I reckon thats Clarkes job to identify Rogers conducting the game as he pleased, reorganise, and go to him.
It all happened in 15 mins, which is too quick and too far away for coaches to react.

I really reckon despite what happened up to that point, someone equalises on Rogers behind the ball for the last eighth of the game, and we win.

yes, easier said than done. its like saying 'just put your seat belt on’ while your car is rolling.

the positive is we can clearly beat anyone

we just need to bank some points so we can beat em all in August/September.

I think we are tracking pretty well, and these close losses will be good long term.

were gonna miss Rickson the next month.

Horrible timing on Borchet injury, otherwise we just ruck Mayo.

but thats footy.

this side is clearly hard to beat, even spluttering; they havnt really played more than a quarter a week of their best footy yet.

If they can get momentum into finals, they can win the flag.
