Everything else aside, add Borchet, Sokol, Schofield, Bravo, Richards, Evitt, we win that game

We will definitely miss Rickson, but let’s face it he got schooled yesterday and that was a big factor in the Tiges getting the win. The young bloke has done an incredible job but he needs backup, or a leader should I say. How nice would it be to have a Keene/Scott combo. Rickson is Scott we just need a Keene

I might add, to be fair, the Tiges were missing Hunter, possibly Occonner, and Davis for part of the game

Absolutely. Just the experience factor

Davis is VIP for them. He could hardly walk after the game. Calf. If its a tear, it’ll be 8 weeks.

Yes didn’t look good

Does anyone know what the Borch & Soks injuries are?

Think Borchett has a fractured wrist. A fair time out of the game. Soks, I think, has a hammy.

Taj not far away.

Thanks, for the bad news.

I can’t think that we really have any replacements for those guys.

Sheeet, we are in deep water now. Mayo will have to ruck and that means we have fa up forward. Those 3 point losses might bite us sooner than we think. Any other guns at Kingsley or anywhere else before June 30??

I think we have to go with Henderson. We have developed him. He might step up. But agree, we’re in a spot of bother now.

Bob Girolami is a swing man. kicked a few bags at Richmond.

enough depth down back to swing him forward.

Bob and Soks KPFs, Mayo mostly rucks.

not ideal but doable. we’ll need more goals out of the smalls.

could be a blessing in disguise, I reckon we look better with Mayo on ball.

any evidence Blight has ever played forward?

just need to graft 4 points this week and maybe get schoey back soon after the bye will be a big in.

overall though, who wouldn’t have taken a game out of 2nd after rd8 preseason?

True. That’s good about Girolami. Agree on small forwards. Douglas is promising though. Evitt might have to wait till next year. Hope he makes it. . Wes Walley might find some form. He’s got the speed.

Blight might be able to play forward.

Soks will be out for a few weeks though if it’s a hammy…possibly more, Schoey has a hammy and has been out for ages. How about Bartlett? Is Fin, the bigger youngest Henderson, worth a go in the ruck? He’s 200cm 102kg

In South Africa at the moment but followed the game on the WAFL app. Gee these close losses are going to hurt come finals time. I bet Schoey is pulling his hair out.

This was a relatively good result considering the outs, but we really need to get over Perth next weekend to keep momentum going.

As for Rogers being the spare in the last quarter and intercepting everything, he did the same last year or year before and Wardman didn’t react which cost as the game. I hope Schoey didn’t make the same mistake.

Douglas should have kicked 4 on the weekend.

Hes contorting himself to play selflessly, which will benefit everyone long term.

But he looks only weeks away from a bag.

Him and sonny are full batman and robin working arses off defensively.

persisting with douglas will pay off

Fwiw, i dont think soks or borch will be gone long. You can play with a guard over a cracked wrist.

Unless someone wouldnt or couldnt follow instructions, schoey made the same mistake

Like i said, i reckon correcting those dog balls obvious moves (‘we’re less than a kick up, 10mins to go, experienced leader takes themselves loose behind ball) is up to on-field leaders to correct.

It would be a concern if they dont have the nous and licence to do that

Siano and Douglas both have been quite impressive defensively and both able to hit scoreboard with Douglas having multiple chances on the weekend and Siano kicking 2.

Schoey on 91.3 inferred that Sokol should be right to go as he only felt a bit tight before the game, so was just taking precautions.

Hopefully anyway!

Taj says he is ready to return but dad says not yet son.
