I got a bad feeling about this one. Hope we’re not embarrassed.
Christian Ameduri named captain, a well-deserved honour for a fine footballer.
So I assume its at the Adelaide Oval as a Curtain Raiser to an AFL game??? Theres been minimal publicity
I heard the game started at 1230pm and there’s an kids indigenous game between the State game and AFL game.
Cancel the thing
That’ll be an early start here. Wonder if it’s televised.
Seems like a few players are deciding not to play…how times have changed hey Brad Smith.
You can watch the game via the SANFL Now app. Bouncedown is at 10am WST.
If you are keen on watching a flogging that is.
Two different levels. Scrap it
14 debutants is an unusually large amount for an interstate game when you’re playing away
It’s hard to get enthusiastic about this state game.Don’t get me wrong I hope the boys do well and bring the bacon home but so what? With all the major media coverage, enthusiastic support of the WAFL and all the players making themselves fully available (Wow how far can I shove my tongue into my cheek!) the game will be monumental. And what are the odds- the state game is scheduled just over a week before the AFL MSD.What a coincidence!
WA playing well. Anyone getting choppy coverage?
The stream is pathetic.Cutting out every 10 seconds.

Started watching the stream but couldn’t be arsed with the narrow band quality. Cutting out every 5 seconds so have given up on it. Shame as it was a decent game.
Surely this fixture need to be given the respect it deserves. Rather than an AFL curtain raiser, this should be a stand alone fixture, alternated between the states after the AFL MSD too.
One of the commentators finally apologised for “technical difficulties” at the 11 and a half minute mark of the third quarter.
Great result and to win it in Adelaide makes it even sweeter.
Watched as best I could with a very annoying shitty streaming service but that’s a great win. Thought if we got within 5 goals it would have been a fair effort but to win by 30 points (should have been 50 as SA got some junk time goals) is pretty impressive I must say. Looked horrible after the first 8 mins when is was 14 - 0 but from then on we never looked in doubt.
Well done to the group, a bit of pride reinstated to WA.
Well that was a shock…happy to eat my words. Well done WA!
That was bizarre!!!. What a win. Came out of nowhere.
Great to see WA get a rare win in Adelaide in the 100th meeting between the two states. Murdock continues his good form and surely should be playing at the elite level. From what I saw of the match, I really liked the game of the Royals ruckman Scott Jones. Is he a chance to get picked up in the MSD at the age of 29?
when I saw there were 14 debutants I had my concerns for sure
but you’d take a win in SA every day of the week
maybe it was something they couldn’t scout for once ?
Congratulations to the boys on a great win.Now let’s see how many of them are playing for their club side in two weeks time.
Very surprised by the result but pleasantly surprised I must say.
I think we finally picked a team to do the job required over there against SA unlike the previous coach.
Very much a quicker, more mobile side than previous.
Southy some of those debutants have played over 100 afl & or WAFL games so they were hardly rookies!
As for the SANFL streaming ffs.
It would seem its not just their power supply that has been left in the dark ages!!!
