State game

yeah maybe it’s just the bit of unknown factor along with other experience level that did the trick Beas

Renewables? Maybe a cloudy day with not much wind? Sounds worth watching I missed it but downloaded the app but looks like it’s too soon for the replay.

How did Aussie Davis and Aaron Clarke go guys?

[quote=“Ti Em post=243063 userid=2595”]Great to see WA get a rare win in Adelaide in the 100th meeting between the two states. Murdock continues his good form and surely should be playing at the elite level. From what I saw of the match, I really liked the game of the Royals ruckman Scott Jones. Is he a chance to get picked up in the MSD at the age of 29?

Murdock is the one who should be getting picked up,he always plays at a consistently high level in big games.

Who won the Simpson medal? It’s available on replay now.

FMD see what you mean about the streaming same on the replay. Worse in the 2nd qtr than the 1st. Is it like this the whole game?

Milan Murdock definitely deserves a crack now.
Archer May at approx 200cm, mobile, athletic, skilful must be getting some attention with those attributes.

Yep looks like Murdoch won the Simpson medal well deserved. If he doesn’t get an AFL call up after that there is something wrong. Funny how the streaming was sorted out after the game stopped but no sound until after Milan Murdoch had finished his speech.

Great game by Aussie Davis well done mate did us Demon supporters proud.

Well done WA…surprised many a “faithful” WAFL fan with that win…Murdock wins his 3rd Simpson…on pure AFL traits…Aussie Davis has more of a chance then Murdock DD in the upcoming MSD…be interested to see if anyone from that WA side gets a lifeline…

Really important win for the Wa State Team.
SA,away, looked like a big mountain to climb. With the Sanfl salaray caps over $400,000

Absolutely spot on. Heaps of blokes playing WAFL that could be AFL players. Dimwit plonker “expert” recruiters want to gamble on children instead. Great performance by WA. We can’t let State footy die.

Great win by the boys, Adam Read said in the paper a few weeks ago that he wanted a team with speed and his strategy worked. Just goes to show that a strong ruckman makes a big difference. I hate streaming sports, hate it with a passion and today was a fucking disgrace. No live audio of the game, fuck all preview in the paper and a useless stream of the game including the replay. And thanks, channel seven for your support of second tier football except state football.

Just watched the replay.
I must say the buffering was terrific.
Got glimpses at least.
10 seconds of play in every 30 seconds.
I must say the coverage of state leagues is disgracefull.
Whilst there is no commentary the coverage of minor sport does not have that problem.
FFS get it fixed.

Well I reckon Murdock mirrors a Sam Mitchell. Not quick in a straight line but does his best work in congestion, great lateral mover and excellent by hand or foot.

The recent Hawthorn era under Clarkson had probably more left footers that right so if they are looking for a speedy outside lefty Aussie Davis might be under the radar. He is one player that would thoroughly deserve his chance.

Bouquets to the players and the coaching staff for a brilliant victory against the odds. Very rare for a WA team to go to Adelaide and come back with such a convincing victory.
Brickbats to the WAFC for showing complete disdain for the game and supporters by their lack of promotion and by not ensuring there was a reliable live stream of the match

Still crap.

And the final indignity. From I heard, the so called newspaper did not even have a match report, except one small column that was difficult to notice it. The media is simply terrible!

Search you tube the video seems okay haven’t watched in full yet.

Thanks Grump, that link worked perfectly. The WA boys were very good, out ran and out skilled the Croweaters at every turn.
Wonderful team effort with virtually no passengers. Murdock was a deserving winner of the Simpson but would have only just shaded big Jones who was incredibly influencial, his tapwork and physical presence made life that much easier for the mids.
