Looking like 2 tests over and done with within 6 days. A disaster for Cricket Australia. The way things are going Melbourne and Sydney will be dead rubbers.
A great day for the Aussie. Starc and Boland outstanding with bat and ball.
As would be expected Starc looked tired in his opening spell. But never dropped his pace. Came back later, bent his back some more and reaped the reward. A great for the Big Fella.
Bolland found his line and length and caused the Poms all sorts of problems. Another to reap the rewards.
Both Neser and Doggett played their part as well. Neser picked up two C&Bs.
Must be humiliating for the Poms to be getting smashed by the worst Australian team since 2010. Minus two of the Worlds best bowlers.

I didn’t watch much but watched Starc and Boland for maybe 15 or 20 minutes thinking this is boring as shit but clearly the tactic was to keep the poms out in the heat and humidity for as long as possible and it worked. Turned out to be a great tactic. Looks like it broke the poms.
All set up for one of those Stoke’s specials…that would put a smille on some of those naysayers faces…for a change.
Terrible few days for England, firstly their bowlers served up more pies than Pinjarra Bakery then their batsmen collapsed in a heap in the evening session. Disastrous performance and barring a freak innings from Stokes today this game will be over very quickly
Starc and Boland demonstrated how to occupy the crease for a couple of hours and still score at a reasonable rate.
With Cummins imminent return in the 3rd test, England are looking down the barrel.

Anchor the English side is having 4 days off.They are playing Golf on some Queensland tropical island.
In reality they need to play a 4 day game vs SA.

Smith pinning the ears back, and depositing Archer for 6 was gold…absolute gold. Gutsy effort by Stokes and Jacks, worked hard to get Eng noses in front, to make Aust bat again…needed others to step up the day before…
Well played Aust…yeah no doubt lucky again to secure another 8 wicket win…but hey, they don’t call Aust the lucky country for nothing.
