Just under 2 months out from the season. How are clubs shaping up and clubs adding teams (4ths/5ths) or dropping teams? Any clubs heavily recruiting. Understand we are welcoming Hammond Park and Warwick-Greenwood to the PFL this season too.
Hammond Park as colts only.
on another subject how about club fees this year!!! Wow… some A grade clubs up to $500 for the season while there are some others that are free with no fees at all.
Sponsors must be harder to find for some A and B grade clubs.
Got to pay ‘on field’ bills some how ?
Imagine if the “integrity officer” actually looked into a few of these clubs.
Correct Highpants
Unfortunately both the PFL and WAFC are fully aware of the corrupt circumstances regarding ‘what went down’ with my old club. Yet take no responsibility or accountability.
While that continues to occur, both organisations remain complicit.
Then of course what occurs at some clubs at the “Top End of Town” is outrageous as a ‘Amateur’ league!
Warwick Greenwood might find the going a bit tough in the PFL. They’re from the Sunday Football league where defending doesn’t happen. Very different styles of play but they do have a couple guns in their team who won’t be out of place that’s for sure.
Interesting RE Warwick Greenwood that the PFL allowed a club in an established area to set up shop. Especially with the number of bigger clubs in the area.
Swan view also make a return to the PFL (colts only) after a 10 year hiatus.
Looks like Maddington are back to E grade after playing in the c4 grand final last year.
Nollamara have folded and it looks as though Armadale are heading that way too.
Wonder what happened?
Armadale may have something to do with there antics post E1 GF in 2024.
I can not wait for the North Fremantle v CBC Derby, been ages and i reckon The Mighty Maggies are going to be ok in A grade.
Things not going well down at basso?

Very average indeed … I believe they were allowed to nominate though but there were sanctions handed out. I did see a post about it from their page and they were sorting things which is good to see and hopefully they do get some teams up. A few people spoil it for the rest in all aspects of life.
Warwick Greenwood have been established for a few years now so not new as a club. Good luck to them but they will need to step up.
Can someone elaborate on just what happened? The YouTube broadcast of the grand final shows a few scuffles, but nothing that would indicate major sanctions.
good to see a few clubs returning to the C grades with High Wycombe, Rossmoyne and Yanchep all nominating 2nd sides.
HW have done well to get a few back to Scott reserve, with the Jetta brothers all clearing back over from the SWFL.
Rossmoyne and Yanchep with big numbers and a lot of younger kids coming through, which should see them hold their own in this grade
Just starting fights after the game, during the game, off field during presentations, abuse of PFL staff, jumping on Trinity’s page abusing them, abuse of umpires. As a whole just not acceptable. They had to cut short the presentations which is just not good enough from any club.
Maddington league coach went to Manning and reportedly has taken a few players with him. Maddington struggling for numbers and are another club that has offered no rego fee this year. Good to hear that HW back up and about maybe they might be getting players back from Gossy and I thought the Jetta brothers went to kelmscott last year?
gossy has had a heap leave the club also, including their BOG from the grand final last year to Cockburn.
Thanks for clarifying Viper. Agree that it’s just not good enough.
It’s a shame that the players and supporters involved seem to have a tendency to move around clubs, cause issues and receive minimal sanctions, while the clubs that they move end up worse off and picking up the pieces.
Seems as though it’s a lot more frequent for clubs in the South East corridor
yep because none of the north suburb teams have issues do they…
In the last 8 years we’ve seen:
Kelmscott, Armadale, Kenwick, Lynwood Ferndale, Maddington and SNESA all have to come back from the brink.
Apart from Nollamara, find me another northern suburbs club.
Considering that R1 is 3ish weeks away, is the PFL in any danger of organising the grades and fixtures?
Seems like it gets later and later every year!

Coolbinia
oh and Osborne Park had issues with numbers a few years ago
Coolbinia have never dropped below c3 and Osborne Park never below c4.
Both have always been able to field 2 competitive sides.
On a side note, I see your boys took out the pre season cup on the weekend. Congratulations, looking like another good year ahead.
