That would require clubs to not nominate teams they can’t field.
one thing I’ll never spray them for is the fixturing. Hardest job to do.
Not with Forrestdale anymore, but yes they look good again

Case in point … a club just pulled out of C2 in the last 48 hours or so.
The league has decided not change the fixtures though.
A team coming out?? Or being asked to stay in C1
carlisle has folded its C2 teams and gone to E grade
Jeez what has happened down there they had 4 senior sides just a couple years ago now dropping to 1?
maybe something to do with the ‘alleged’ stuff where players were taken to another comp and played under bogus names.

When I was a junior Carlisle were a powerhouse. Circa 1979/80 they won the GF in. 9/11/13/15/17.
Queens Park went close in 83ish. In the GF for 9/11/13/15/17 but only won two or three of them.
Of course this was well before the conferences of Centrals (EP, P, SD) Northern (Subi, WP, Clare) and Southern (EF, SF and Peel) and well before having to give everyone one equal time.
I imagine the problem with Carlisle atm is their facility are way off other clubs. People are mobile now and expect good ovals, Change rooms and Club house.
Always disappointing to see a club fall. These guys were a real power house for a few years up in c1 and nearly knocking on the door for B grade. They had two E grade sides but one was associated with Rostrata as they didn’t have enough to get their own side up and running. They had a massive fall out at the beginning of last year that basically seen most of their players go to Forrestdale. Not sure if Carlisle still do but they had a good relationship with the Vic Park JFC. They will do ok in E grade this year though.

Now it’s DIVIDED for the most part into Rrespective grades for PFL punters?
