That happened with Charlie too Corey Byrne having a couple of best ons as well as Parfitt in the run home. Charlie copped a lot of heavy tags I remember the first round against EF Jansen did a lot of holding and Donoghue for Swans second time we played them.
Basically as soon as everyone started talking about Charlie being favourite for the Sandover late in the first round he was copping heavy tags from there on. I wouldn’t have minded if he and Parker had of shared the medal.
