Great effort by Constable, well deserved victoryā¦fingers crossed for the fella, the victory might open a few AFL clubs eyes he might be worth another crack at the big timeā¦fellaās like Constable, Murdock, Parfitt and Schlensog are too good for WAFL footy, and would offer so much more on an AFL list, then some of the list cloggers I see at present.
Lets hope if they are keen for an AFL gig, they get a few enquiries.

Good to see Blakiston get another year, a full year where he will be able to do a pre season. Teakle I would have thought will find himself on a 3rd AFL list if not will be in demand from a few WAFL clubs and probably SANFL as well.
Most likely player Perth could lose is Elijah Scoble but I believe he is best served spending another year in the WAFL.
Yep Blakiston fully deserved that contractā¦at 27 yrs old, gives hope to the likes of younger ones in Constable, Parfitt, Schlensog and Murdock, that a club may come knockingā¦though Murdock aint the tallest, so that may count against himā¦I guess you wish any player the opportunity to secure a contract that pays more, and allows them to play at the highest levelā¦even if they play for the club you supportā¦and probably integral to any success your club may have.
Charlie Constable made the decision when he was delisted by Gold Coast his AFL career was over. He didnāt nominate in the mid season draft this year possibly none of the drafts before that either.
Heās happy focussing on a career after football and enjoying playing for the Demons. I think a couple of our other recruits are in the same basket. AFL just isnāt for everyone, just ask Luke Strnadica.
We all know money talksā¦one can never say neverā¦wonāt be the first footballer to change their mindā¦but hey kudos to the guy if that is the caseā¦as for Strnadica R&Bā¦geez WCE these past few years havenāt been good for a few footy careers TBHā¦hammered in both leagues
