I think you’ve got them the wrong way around. The Swans game is on the 21st. Peel is the 14th.
Oops!
So I have.
Thanks,Cess!

Track watch: Pre-season standouts at every WAFL club - WA Football.
Info about pre/season at each club. In case others haven’t seen this.
Thanks pd!
Good interview with Indi Kirk on sport FM breakfast show. 17/2/26. I can normally paste it here but not able to today.
From that interview,Our new boys should have some fun and an inhouse competition about the Geography and Suburbs of Perth.Even name some towns.Double points if they land one in our Zones.

Glass - McCasker in the leadership group. Interesting.
Huge Vote of confidence from the Players and/or Coaching Group!
I noticed in the three games he played (one Ressies two league) that he has heaps of instructional voice out there
Must be at least one intra club scratchie soon with our first scratch match against Peel in a couple of weeks time. Anyone know about any intraclub scratchies?
I thought read somewhere an intraclub was going to be held the same time as our AGM which was postponed to finish it off and was going to be held in the presidents lounge.
Friday Evening March 6th ,I believe.
Will message someone upstairs regarding that.
Thanks Grassy.
Intra-Club on at 5.30PM this afternoon.
A little later,so the heat probably wafts away into the evening.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out there, including the new boys…..
Loch Paton likely to miss the first 5 rounds. Wrist surgery 4 weeks ago
Couldn’t make the Intraclub today - any news, standouts etc?
Speaking to one of the fitness team last week they were saying there are some of the team that have had great off seasons in the gym - gave an example the Scoble has put on 9kgs across his body whilst maintaining speed and endurance.
Our defence is starting to look like one of our strengths.
Not great to know a good avenue to Goal is out of action.Others will need to step up.
Conrad Williams kicked a few tonight and it’s great to see him still having a crack, when a few had him out the door.
But is he a like for like replacement for Paton,…?
Yes spoke to Paton’s old man he said May possibly June. Has to let that tendon heal. A few AFL clubs spoke to him in the off season including PA who offered him to play in the SANFL which he turned down. Said he is happy at Perth.
Yes Conrad Williams looked the goods but hasn’t put on an ounce of muscle that I could notice. We’ve got great ruck depth this year, possibly the best in the WAFL. All 3 of Edwards, Jaques and new recruit Zac Harding looked good. Edwards kicked 3 first half goals showing he can go forward and impact the scoreboard. Only played the first half.
Our backline looks strong with Scobes, Glass-McCasker, new recruit Charlie Dean, Taylor, OH-B, John, Philip, Sing etc. Johnno played forward and him and Glass-McCasker are basically like new recruits having such a late start last season.
Schlensog wasn’t there and Parfitt is playing finals in the NT.
Didn’t see much of Kirk and Brayshaw but they played. Archer Gardiner was running laps but in a good sign I think, he was the only one I saw running laps. At this early stage it seems we are pretty healthy.
A few young players stood out. Jacob Roberts, Baxter Gray, William Tilbee, Cassius Hill (brother of Daniel).
Oh and some number changes, Cooper Moore now wears No 3 and Jack Evans No 6. Well deserved they stepped up when they got their opportunity last season.
Last game of the year League last year Williams didn’t get the distance from 30-35 out. The week after 1st week of finals for the ressies - same thing.
Ok,so maybe the Coaching Group asked him to try out for this year?
Not sure if we need to trim down the squad(rules wise)before the Season starts, but further good pre-season form should stand him in good stead.
