I believe German starts 4/11 so maybe some news after that.

Let’s hope German has been working in Victoria and a handful or 2 of guns fly in with him.

I get we need to recruit but I think the true measure of a coach is one that can get the best from what he has. I think we have some good players that with a proper game plan and 1st class training program can become much better players.
We had some very over rated players last year and some were very under rated and misused (ie Kasey Nicholas). As I say hopefully a good coach can actually bring out the best in everyone.
I have a feeling that training starts this week. Maybe something will be revealed.
If we plan to rely on improvement from within, we seriously risk a winless season. We need at least 5 good recruits just to be as bad as we were this season.
Ted, I believe a minimum of 6 is the required number and they need to be quality recruits that meet our most urgent needs and add an overall depth of talent to our existing core players.

That seems a bit late. Only about 3 weeks before Xmas break. I trust that the players will present for pre-season in a reasonable condition.
I was told EP not starting until December.

No but Adrian Barich posted a photo with him and old Arther Ranstead out for lunch yesterday in Vic Park. German had his Perth garb on
It seems Matt Pridis has joined the coaching ranks.
Our off field teams is looking very good.
Now for some recruiting which I hope is as good.

They have signed a Sheila as their forward coach.
I think the number of former Subi guys joining Germo is a reflection on the man himself and the respect these guys had for him in that 2003 to 2006 era that produced 3 GF’s, 1 prelim and 2 flags.
I also think that they are guys our kids can look up to.
Priddis in particular a lot of our kids would have been Eagles fans.
He was a very disciplined footballer as well as talented.
I am excited by these signings.
Now I am looking forward to some significant player signings.
We must go all the way or suffer for another 50 years.
With Rumble, Smith and Priddis on board to support German, we will have the strongest off-field team by far that we have had over the past 45 years. No confirmation yet from the club.
Hopefully $ubiaco will be replaced by Perth Demon$.
