True.
But if West Coast want to take this year seriously in the WAFL,improved form may attract new fans.
Then they might have to cater better for their Home Games,so complaints don’t come in a different context.

What other Unpleasant Surprises have the Football Commission got in store for us?
A WA Talent Academy, where the Clubs’ Best Colts Kids get yanked out the WAFL Competition, practically to never be seen again!
Surely the Clubs didn’t agree to that, which was discussed at a Round Table Chatfest?

I think they already have their sticky finger prints all over the PSA.
Those kids will suddenly be allowed to play outside of PSA Commitments,…. ![]()
There is an article in The Post by John Townsend about the Football Budget’s demise.
It also reveals an interesting detail about West Coast’s return,or lack of it,despite an Interest figure alone, derived from revenue, that just confirms my suspicion that they are Squibbing on their obligations to WA Footy.
It also beggars belief the Football Commission palmed off the cost of the Football Budget onto the Clubs and put them in the position,of looking like the bad guy in all this!
It isn’t the Clubs that are the Bad guys!Once again,it is the Football Commission, who could have easily covered $100 Grand, from even the decreased royalties!Or from extra Royalties called out from West Coast.
Do they own this MOB(and Freo)or not?
There is also an amazing Cricket story above it,regarding a Mega Batting Partnership in local Women’s Pennants.
Google Post Group of Newspapers, which should direct you there, tap on the paper and head to the back.
A much better post Ole. Clear, spaced, no tangents - I was able to follow it. Thanks
Ta.
There was one other thing nagging away at me in regards to the Football Commission, putting the squeeze on Clubs to decide issues.
And that’s possibly to do with whether Clubs want to hand over their best Colts to a WA Youth Academy, where that had complete control over their Football, pre - drafting.
We don’t see them at all.
I’m sure the Clubs recoiled in complete horror over that and knocked it on the head last year.
But unfortunately,I don’t think we’ve heard the last of that.

Ok,but what’s your analysis of that?
And to all, who’s going to replace WAFC CEO Michael Roberts?
