Next season - ins, outs, thoughts

Also, was he contracted to the Eagles? Did they agree for him to transfer to EP?

CH22 it would appear the alignment is a no but if brayshaw goes back to the wcer then it is another recruit we have to find to replace Kerr and others in the mid field but hey it will all be good next season.

we know brayshaw has signed a contract but has west coast given him a transfer to east perth.could be messy if west coast digs its heels in.

Yes there’s 2 things to consider when a player changes clubs, the contact with his new club and a properly approved clearance. I would expect the clearance trumps the contract but I’m no lawyer.

He has signed so he should not be allowed to go back. There are no rules for them.

Lets face it when it comes to the wce machine EPFC will just bend over and accept that it is their turn in the barrell!

Seems that Ajang is not going anywhere, well according to someone on the Subi site but where is the news of any recruiting, other clubs are posting news why aren’t we!

What’s the go with Magro? He is doing well in the NTFL at the moment. Could he play in 2022 after that season is done?

My understanding is that yes he will return, last time I spoke to him at seasons end he indicated he would be back but who knows what players at EP are doing or going to do in the future.

devan perry played several seasons with st. mary’s in the off season.in 2000 he broke his ankle during the ntfl season but still managed to play in the 2000 premiership.i would say with training and playing it would be as good or better then a pre season.

This the form guide for the team where our new recruit comes from

2019 RECAPEssendon Doutta Stars was Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division’s lowest scoring team in 2019, with no individual player kicking more than 17 goals across the entire season. The absence of key forward Alex Boyse, who only played eight games, did not help matters up forward for the Stars in a year where they averaged only 8.2 goals per game. While Douttas ended the year three wins clear from relegation, they did drop all of their last five games by an average margin of almost 70 points, including a shocking 162-point drubbing at the hand of eventual premier and fierce rival, Keilor.BEST & FAIREST TOP FIVE
1st - Charles Lill*
2nd - Tom Wallis* & Jordan Schroder (pictured)
3rd - Campbell Wearne
4th - Brodie Meyers & Patrick Willach

That would suggest that it is a step up, well a big step up in the standard of competition, we will just have to wait and see!

Virtually hasn’t played for two seasons Grump for Covid reasons. Seems to have played some reasonable games statistically as a kid in the VFL. We may get a pleasant surprise Grump, he might be quite handy. Or is this an attack on something at the club I’m not comprehending.

Not sure its been mentioned, but Dobson to WP confirmed and its seems a few (Perth, Subiaco and Claremont) are chasing Ajang

The self appointed Royals '‘Doyen’'appears to be questioning the bona fides of our new recruit,as well as the judgement of Bombers Premiership player Paul Barnard, who obviously referred him to the club,so i would’ve thought thats about par for the course.

KCEF, I don’t know where you get the idea that the west saying “while Mitch Dobson is set to head to West Perth.” goes anywhere what you say " Dobson to WP confirmed."

Both he and Ajang still show on the East Perth Website Players list. So until their names are removed, take it that neither are going anywhere.

Nothing sinister just a statement abt where he has come from and that it is a step up in level, as I said we will just have to wait and see, same thing as I said elsewhere but … .

Fair enough Grump but there are good players everywhere in virtually any grade in Australia that could play WAFL if they are dedicated to train. In regards to Dobbo and AJ KCEF. Firstly I wish them nothing but good luck. Both highly gifted in different ways capable of good football. Probably the two worst trainers at the club and both with questionable attitude and competitiveness. I think EP can live without them and I will watch with interest what good or damage they do elsewhere.

R2019 yep there are good players a plenty but we just need to make sure we get the Cowells and not the Pettifers. I am sure that Paul B will have others he can send to us and his judgement can surely be relied upon.

Absolutely Grump we should be looking for hard trainers, good blokes and competitive individuals that realise they are not just playing for some shit club with no history. Club first mentality at all times.
