Three key re-signings with Jones, Ameduri and Msando recommitting to the club, good news.
Three guns Grump no doubt, we fought off the buzzards to garner those valuable signatures.
Just noticed on the East Perth Website Players list - Elijah Taylor from Perth.
I also saw that Ajang Ajang was gone , so maybe a swap?
Well that is an interesting development. I suppose he probably needed a change of space and will add something to our forward line. We will again just have to wait and see what he brings to the table.
It remains to be seen whether the kid can get over his disciplinary issues…maybe ROBBO can become his mentor![]()

Quite interesting to see how the 2 clubs have reported the Ajang / Taylor situationhttps://www.eastperthfc.com.au/news/21444/taylor-signs-with-the-royals

I wish Elijah well and have always said he should get a second chance. But, EP fans, is using 10 points on a player like Taylor what you had in mind when you were looking at the sort of players you would need to recruit? I really thought if he played WAFL at all, it would have to be Perth just because no-one else would use that many points. Anyway, good luck to you both.
He could be as good value TEDDY as the '‘bone on bone’'knee challenged Chrissy Masten, but give my regards to your M.I.A. mate who we haven’t heard from for a while.
Various WAFL clubs have done well with players who have had these sorts of issues & criminal records, WP with Rudi Riddick, Swans with Krakouer & Subi with Yarran, Kraks & Yarren got a chance at AFL, sadly Yarran’s story did not have a happy ending but, I wish Taylor well, he obviously has talent so I hope he can harness that talent to a good attitude and behaviour and have a positive impact at the Ferals.
It is an interesting reaction on EP’s FB with some not so pleased but most being supportive of Taylor, personally I am not a big fan his past but if the club and more importantly Kim Farmer are putting their hands up and supporting him he gets the opportunity.
Is he worth 10 points time will tell and remembering we still have some concessions in the points total. He was a good colts player and seemed to impress Sydney,
I’m just a bit surprised, Grump, that you picked up Taylor before the AFL draft. Often clubs will wait to see who is available after the draft before finalising their lists. If you still have spare points after all that, there’s no issue in picking up a speculative 10 player since the points would otherwise go unused. Maybe it’s a sign that there are slim pickings available for WAFL clubs? EP were expected to be a big player in off-season recruiting and I didn’t expect a guy like Taylor, who may or may not work out, to be the sort of player you would target.
Ted I suspect that the club feels under pressure to strengthen the squad with mature players.
I would always hope that the boys from the colts get their opportunity particularly players like Armstrong who might or might not be drafted. He is a big strong lad who would fit in very nicely.
More players resigning, Cooley, Kuek and Willcocks.
Grump, you had me worried until I checked the Website.
The word is RE-SIGNED. That little hyphen makes all the difference

Brain still a little cold from the beach, oops will try to do better next time
Great news, Grump. When Kuek was mentioned earlier i checked out some footage of him including an interview when he was with the Natanui Academy. He seems like a great kid with a ton of untapped talent, and generally a good sort to have around the club. Can’t wait to see how he turns out in the years to come
So the certainties (in my opinion) have been drafted and possibles left to ponder their collective futures.
Dittmar is a definite league players as is Armstrong and Habour it remains to see whether they’re given the proper opportunities to develop in the leagues side or left serve as some call it an apprenticeship in the reserves. Dittmar is the replacement for Kerr, Habour goes to a forward pocket or Half forward with Armstrong being a big tall wingman.
They have skills, they have bodies and they have the football nouse to be league footballers THIS year!

surprised dittmar didn’t at least get rookie listed.eagles still have a spot left and wouldn’t be surprised if he and several other players are train ons to see who get’s the last spot.i hope like you grump that some of the players you mentioned get a chance next year but i do worry that the club may go overboard and bring in recruits to deprive them of chances.in todays paper it was mentioned in todays est thata peel player called michael randall is looking to change clubs with east perth and a few other clubs interested in him.he got himself in some minor trouble last year by taking a supplementhe is a midfielder.is he a replacement for brayshaw?.
Some of the names you mention have terrible attitudes I’m told. So wouldn’t expect them to be In the WAFL system long or at all. Dittmar could be picked up at some point in the near future if he can tick a couple of boxes.
A replacement for Brayshaw, where is Hamish supposed to be going???Randall would be a fantastic pick up,and with the added midfield depth,i’d be swinging Schumacher forward as he has strong hands and a booming kick.
