Yes it sounds good. The WA Womens Football isn’t really mentioned in the media is it?
Mrs. Admin has added the WWAFL under the WAFL category - any objections to its placement?
I think Mrs Admin has made a good choice in regards to the placement of the WA Womens Football League. From what I can see, it should be covered under WA football.
Good idea as the Womens footy is certainly on the rise. It will a good forum for them to air their views and also informative to others.
They certainly dont get that much media so it could also promote and encourage other women to get into the sport.
George, any chance we can increase the number of posts that appear on each page of an individual thread?
Page 3 of this thread only had 6 posts - can we increase to say 10 posts per page?
It should be possible. I saw the same thing. I’ll look into it tonight.
Mike.
Actually, it was pretty simple. I now have it set to 10 per page. Let me know of any issues this may cause.
Mike
Thanks for that.
What about putting folders under WA Metro Football like you have done for the AFL and SANFL. I am thinking to create folders to represent the grades in the WAAFL. A Grade, B Grade, C1, C2, C3, C4, D1, D2, E1, E2, E3?
Its certainly something that can be looked into. I think we are more or less forced into adding all the AFL teams due to popularity in this day and age.
The SANFL was added more so because of it being somewhere in between AFL and the WAFL, but hasn’t had a single post in any of its categories thus far.
What I am concerned with is that we could fragment conversation across to many categories. We haven’t added the VFL, TSL or the NEAFL for this reason.
If posting continues to be health in WAAFL category, then we will certainly look at expansion of this area. I am willing to look at it.
Mike
Ok great - i know the banter on the WAAFL boards on FootyGoss over the years have been great fun.
I agree with you on this one Mike.could be many post get lost among the the myriad of posts.
I think it is preferable to have fewer rather than more catagories.Make more general news places.Like SANFL general rather than have each individual club.
I just hope that there is no place made for political comment like is on FG.
Glad I found this site, I dont post much but I love to have a read and FG hasn’t had anything interesting lately.
Nice Work

I’m with The Shiz on this one…
Maybe an A/B grade folder, C1/2 folder, C3/4 folder and a D&E folder.
Might just make it a bit easier to find the postings for the grade you play or are interested in.
I see the site has dropped the EP EAGLES and Peel Dockers headings.
Good to see but I think if there were complaints it wasnt totally out of context as these two clubs are now aligned with the 2 AFL clubs.
Maybe underneath their Club headings it could still have
aligned with the West coast Eagles and on Peel heading
Aligned with Fremantle Dockers.
Nothing offensive in that as it is how it is!
Yeah, it was a little protest, however It may have upset some and I apologise. The wife changed it back today, and told me it might have been a little insensitive.
Now that the host clubs have been formalised, and touted by the clubs as host clubs, we could maybe put this as a sub heading?
Thoughts and opinions?
Mike
Insensitive??? They will be known as the EP Eagles and Peel Dockers in my eyes and most football supporters. Even Channel 10 let Gossage call EP the EP Eagles tonight. Good on him!!!
Great idea Cardy. These 2 teams are no longer WAFL teams, so the distinction should be made. Might hurt the princess pride of people like the grump, but fact is fact!!
On a lighter note Mike, I like the “rookie”, “benchwarmer” classifications
When I get time, I’ll try organise it so we can list our supported teams under our avatars.
Mike
Any plans on “where are they now” - ala FG?
