Ins and Outs for 2013

I suppose he was originally from East Perth anyway

But Swandog he was picked up from WPFC not EPFC so WP should get all the AFL fee’s for players from their present club not Half.. Why the FARK should EP get a transfer fee? Come on mate be fair.

Sorry Cardy i wasnt referring to the transfer fees but Yeh i suppose EP are double dipping as they would have recieved fees when he was taken by St Kilda in 2010

Plus EP will pick up another Brilliant player to add to their WAFL list. Gee it is going to be a very slanted comp when you look at it.
2 Teams in the WAFL get all the key players from the other clubs.
Players who used to make the difference in winning and losing in a lot of cases.
The whole concept is A JOKE…Hate to say this but if it comes down to 2 WAFL clubs holding the AFL players it is not a even playing field and as far as I am concerned in 2014 the WAFL could be history in my book. Time to move on.. THANKS to WAFC AND AFL

I believe that was the deal with East Perth when we signed him. Hutchy is an East Perth lad and he would of played with them but they couldnt fit him in the cap. I also believe he played up in the northern suburbs and he knew a fair number of blokes at West Perth. He embraced West Perth and i wont hold anything against him when he pulls on a East Perth jumper. I hope he does a Callum Chambers and comes back to the Falcons one day.

I would like to know say if Hutchings was delisted from WC at the end on 2014 & he wants to go back to WP will EP require a transfer fee?

no draft fees when a player gets picked for the 2nd time

Falcons have added some depth

Goodluck if you can get Potente on the park

Good to see Strijk is staying with the Falcons, looks like Seabs was the only traitor..

Who is this Potente Swandog, whats the story with him? fringe player at Swans? sounds like he might be injury prone by your comments?

Twenty four league games, fouteen goals.

Last played 2010 Prelim v EP, got the flu and didnt come up for the GF, i rate him highly and is a hard nosed ball winner, but has struggled with injury since, good luck to him and if he gets fit he will slot along similar ball winning style to a Guad probably..top fella too, drank lots of piss with him post GF win at the Presidents house

He’s very small but a good little player. He was awarded one of Swans’ discretionary premiership medals (with Pratt and Notte) and I got the feeling Dawson was a big fan.

He’d been battling injuries but since Harding came in, he’s never really appeared like a part of the plan.

Hope he does well.

he was colts capt under Harding in 08 when they won a flag so he rates him but seems to have struggled with injury and played a lot at Kalamunda last year..
good player when fit..

Thanks for the info guys, sounds like he has had some bad luck in the past, hope it works out for him at his new club.

whilst obviously not geting Seaby, WP have done quite well with some ‘quiet’ recruiting…can’t believe Rodda didn’t get rookied, not surprised about Nelson…but some good talent sneaking there way up at WP…Rodda, Nelson, Black, Antonio etc…whilst Strijk and Van Berlo aren’t newbies as such, good mature bodies and heads to keep the youngsters in line.

Jordan Jones should be a big improver and i like the cut of the kid with the sleeve…the blond fella

Rhode is the big kid who has only played one league game against East Perth right?
It was the last game of the home and away season, if it is the same kid, he was standing next to Lynchy in that game and I think he was bigger than the big Q..

He is a big lad and is fast on his feet, should be good to watch him develop over the next season.

We have picked up some good players, on the down side the club recorded a 30K loss..

Falcon,

It will be a mixed season, one of ups and downs I think, but all for the right reasons. We will be a bit more inexperienced but that may work for us as we will be touted to finish lowly. Blokes like Lecca, Burnsie and Ricie were brilliant servants, but I believe they held us back a little because they had passed it and just didn't have that killer desire.

Dizzy will be a loss thats a no brainer, on the flip side his payments will free up some dollars for the other recruits. Look out for Rhode, Rodda and Morrow (who is in impressive form at training) to fill the back half voids and put a spring back in our step.

What good players have WP recruited? wait till next year there will be a loss of over 100k!WP are in dire trouble financially.
