We picked up Trent Manzone from Queensland. Also a delisted Carlton player has been signed as well as 190cm backman from Victoria. Also talking to a couple of local blokes and a couple of guys who we tried to snare last year.
Lecca has retired.

Looks like some progress on recruiting this year for the Garlics Winger!
Have also heard a whisper that one maybe two handy fridge players from the black and whites may be about to land at Arena. Adding to the depth.
You are right Kenny , cant disclose any names as yet.
Thanks Steve keep us posted. Lets hope our recruits are all successful. Last year we had a couple of bad calls but in hindsight who can predict that.
We definately need another ruckman and a good forward
Winger - can you reveal names yet? Someone up there told me you have signed a new player from Swans?
Hi guys thought I would join this great new sight, getting sick of all that spam on the Goss..

We chased a player last year from Swans I think it was Riggio? he could not move for some reason, contract maybe??
Wonder if it is him??
I believe this player was not a regular league player last season however has games under his belt. Could turn out to be a good pick up.
Ill leave it to Winger to confirm as he would know more. I heard it from WP though.,
I know of some definite signings, will reveal when I get the nod !
Now you got me drooling Leedy..
Gidday Falcon good to see you on board. :cheer:
Re new signings should be a few looking for a new club from EP and Peel I suspect?
Hi Cardy, great to see you back…
Would be nice to get Smith back from the Royal Eagles, but I am dreaming.
BTW love this new forum.
looks like van berlo could be headed to swans.
This is outa the West Australian this morning, some good recruits hopefully.
West Perth have bolstered their squad with the signing of former Carlton half-forward Rohan Kerr.
The 20-year-old came with a strong reference from former Falcons coach Darren Harris, who coached Kerr at VFL side Northern Blues last season.
Kerr will join former Vic Country under-18s representative Shaun Marusic and Swan Districts product James Embley at West Perth.
Marusic, key defender, had his VFL season with Frankston disrupted by a broken foot, but will add size and strength to the Falcons’ back line.
Embley, the younger brother of Eagles wingman Andrew Embley, played 17 league games for Swans before switching to West Perth.
West Perth lost Brent LeCras, Dustin Burns and Joel Rice to retirement at the end of the 2012 season and are also still negotiating with former AFL players Jay Van Berlo, Mark Seaby and Andrew Strijk
some good ins there, surely Strijk will get picked up for a late draft pick by a AFL club.
Good to see Darren Harris still having an influence at our great club,he still bleeds red & blue, looks like a couple of potential players..
So whats with Burner and Ricey being out? Thought Leccie was the only one retiring? Strange that Jay is leaving to Swans as well? Won a medal at our club and thought he was Red and Blue. Oh well thats footy. Draft still to come so who knows he might be picked up there.
Should be an interesting preseason with the moves around the clubs.
The ins look good on paper and will add some depth.
Cardy,
VanBerlo is not at Swans mate, he will be with WP if not drafted !
Thanks Leedy I was just responding to a earlier post re Jay.
It is certainly going to be a busy couple of years with a lot leaving EP and Peel I suspect.
