Ins and Outs for 2013

Van Berlo was apparently signing with Swans tuesday night before training so not sure what the story is if Falcons supporters reckon he is staying at Joondy.

He signed a 2 year deal with WP today ! :cheer:

From this morning West:Onya Jay!!
Discarded Fremantle midfielder Jay van Berlo has signed a two-year deal with his original club, West Perth.
“He is only just 24 and is in the prime of his footy career. With over 50 WAFL games under his belt already, he has plenty of great football ahead of him.”

West Perth are still chasing former AFL players Mark Seaby and Andrew Strijk, and have added Victorian recruits Rohan Kerr and Shaun Marusic to their senior list for the 2013 season.

James Embley has also signed for the Falcons after leaving Swan Districts.
West Perth lost Brent LeCras, Dustin Burns and Joel Rice to retirement at the end of the 2012 season

mixed messages up Swans way for sure..good work on Van Berlo staying with the Falcs

Onya Jay…Loyalty does exist

and i’d say he used Swans genuine interest in his contract negotiations and got himself a good deal, smart move.!

Like they all do Mark. Van Berlo wil be a real asset to the Falcons

Great to see Jay at the Falcons. A handy player indeed.

Mark Seaby has signed with Claremont for two years.

Winger mate, you are just as passionate as me and this news makes you wonder at what point do you just give up with the whole shooting match..
This host club horse chit and now the news of Seabs going to Claremont is just another reason why I am slowly starting lose interest, if a player like Seabs who I thought was a true West Perth guy(obviously not) can just disregard our club of who he won a premiership with, it is just chit, pure and simple.

The club has lost it’s passion and professionalism, no longer being able to bring players back home after AFL duties, like you said Smith last year Seabs this year, I have lost faith in the club to deliver, they have failed us again.

Use the money you saved on not getting Seaby back to WP on pinching back Josh Smith from those Eagles reserves traitors!

I am waiting on the next chapter of our powerful recruiting skills the club has got, will Strijk play for us next season??

Or is he shifting camps also??

Get Smith back you think Beasley?? yeh right they failed the first time on that one why would things be any different now??

My confidence in this club is at an all time low..

Seaby would of fitted in real well at WP and would of made the difference. So he doesnt want to travel to Joondalup to train. :frowning: Pretty pathetic. Most probably a bigger pay packet as well. Cant blame him for that as big income lost once out of AFL. Read about it below

Bummer, really thought Seaby would go back to the Falcons,oh well thats life.

Mark Hutchings picked up by WC, will you guys lose him to EP next year.

That just SUCKS!!!

But true. Well done Hutchy. When you put on a EP jumper I wont be there to see it. Just another injustice of the ALIGNMENT

WA lads pickups and teams
Pick 44 - Sydney Swans - Harrison Marsh
Pick 45 - West Coast Eagles - Brandt Colledge
Pick 59 - West Coast Eagles - Adam Carter
Pick 60 - West Coast Eagles - Mark Hutchings

Yeah another kick in the guts for the Falcons,Hutchings going to the East Perth[buy a premiership at any cost]Eagles.See Shane Nelson didnt get drafted but will probably go in the rookie draft,Strijk also didnt go but surely will get rookie drafted.Im still spewing bout Seaby going to Claremont.

Na not much to look forward to is it??

Think I will only go to home games from now and bar EP and Peel games completely..

Thats what me and my mate are doing, we are both members. We will not go to EP and Peel home games. Hutchy will wear an EP jumper as from 2014. As i understand Hutchy’s situation, West Perth will only receive half of any money from the AFL. The other half goes to East Perth.
