Here we go AGAIN.

A woman has returned from guess where? SYDNEY..!!! She is positive and roamed around several places in the northern suburbs. Fans are instantly banned from today’s AFL game between WC and WB. Right call by the govt on this one. This delta strain is a fricken nightmare. We have to do everything possible to avoid Sydney’s clusterfuck situation they now find themselves in.

It’s hit the FIFO industry too with over 200 fifo workers forced into ISO in NT and WA fifo workers have been exposed. Let the panic buying begin. Ready, steady, go.

She has been to IKEA. WOW. Our 3 day lockdown starts midday today. Masks required indoors.

Darwin also in 2 day lockdown after 4 local cases. Is that Darwin’s first lockdown and local cases?

Why wasn’t she required to isolate for a full 14 days? Well done McGoo and Cooked you are keeping us safe, NOT!!!

Once again you are allowing your politics to determine what the correct response. As I have said elsewhere if Morrisons Mary Magdalene had put Sydney into lockdown when she should have then this would not have happened!

The WA response is what you and the others from right have been bleating for for months a proportionate response!

Me I am in the middle and can see the issue without much bias!

Spot on. SloMo’s gold standard Blameless Beryl is going to plunge the whole country into lockdown because of her incompetence. The continuing ineptitude of our public officials is just mind blowing. We’ve got 2% of the population fully vaccinated. With dopey SloMo in charge we are years off avoiding these blunt, crude lockdowns as the first and only response to the virus.

Is lucky no split round this weekend and all the matches held yesterday. According to the press conference this morning, if a Wafl match were played today the crowd would be limited to just 150. That would not go down with the club’s very well I suspect.

What a joke. Where is the criticism of the laissez-faire NSW LNP state government? Where is the criticism of that state government’s belated decision to lockdown NSW? How on earth is McGowan responsible for the appallingly bad decisions by the LIBERAL NATIONAL NSW government?

So on the one hand Mark was right you are saying when he publicly stated Sydney should go into lockdown to (Marks favourite line), “crush and kill the virus”, but it’s also ok he allowed people in the state without mandatory 14 days self isolation, instead just iso until you your test comes back negative which goes against all previous testing requirements for people in iso?

And in fact McGoo and Cooked said recently they might have to extend testing requirements beyond the 14 day iso period as one hotel quarantined guest tested neg in all his 14 day quarantine period but started developing symptoms after his last neg test. Remember Grump?

So for McGoo and co to let people in from Sydney with the only requirement to iso until your test on arrival comes back negative fly’s in the face of all previous advice. Just stupid. We wouldn’t have this problem if she was required to iso for 14 days and get tested another 1 or 2 times.

Typical response from a Labor party man who believes the WA Labor Party are untouchable because of the election result. In other words ZERO accountability in your red eyes.
This woman should be forced into hotel quarantine at the Labor party’s expense. She just obeyed the government’s rules.
What a load of crap. When it became evident there were outbreaks in NSW, this government should have imposed mandatory 14 day quarantine on anyone returning from that state. Clearly that didn’t happen as this women was allowed to roam around Perth for a few days until she started feeling unwell and was tested positive. Is that Gladys’ fault or McGoo and Cooked? My money is on the latter as we can’t control what happens in NSW but we can control what happens here.

As opposed to your LNP bias that precludes you from criticising the NSW LNP’s handling of the current spike in COVID-19 cases?

We are not yet in lockdown, no intrastate travel restrictions yet, just restrictions on numbers at venues, in homes and some mask wearing, just at phase 1 at the moment. This woman has had her first jab, initially tested neg but got tested again after starting to feel crook and showed positive. The med advice is that if you’ve had the first jab you can still get it but the level of contamination to others is significantly reduced, if it is the Delta strain it will still be an anxious wait for the next few days. Agree we need to be tighter on those coming in from infected states like NSW. Lets hope whats happening in NT and NSW is not the forerunner of a big second wave, which has happened just about everywhere else.

it is a second wave mate - unfortunately there’s been a huge breach by one driver who has started this
complacency has taken care of the spread and inaction until too late has assisted it
have to question this woman’s intelligence to decide to travel to an outbreak

And McGoo said the other day we will look at mandatory vaccination for drivers picking up cabin crews. Looking at it, seriously? A reactive not proactive government at work we are seeing.

just one quick question - which is the only state that hasn’t shut it’s borders ?

Mark was just asked should you have reacted sooner to close the border? Mark said no, we acted very quickly. We closed the border on Wednesday. Wrong answer Mark, you were clearly too slow to close the border. Sydney lost control of this weeks ago. This wouldn’t be happening here if you closed the border sooner. Simple as that.

BC of course it is Sneakers fault, how silly of me to think that Mary Magdalene should acted sooner so that other states could react appropriately, how silly of me to expect sneakers to apply a rational strategy based on what MM and her cohorts were saying or advising, she said it was under control and of course it was she had Scotty and Hillsong on her side.

It would matter what was done there will always looked to blame some other than the real culprits but hey as the paint ad says keep keeping on!
