the Blowflies got out of NSW and that’s why WA , SA , NT & Tasmania have also just shut the gates - only one place to point anything at truthfully
[quote=“DD post=208447 userid=1749”]And McGoo said the other day we will look at mandatory vaccination for drivers picking up cabin crews. Looking at it, seriously? A reactive not proactive government at work we are seeing.
[quote=“Southerner post=208446 userid=1210”]it is a second wave mate - unfortunately there’s been a huge breach by one driver who has started this
complacency has taken care of the spread and inaction until too late has assisted it
have to question this woman’s intelligence to decide to travel to an outbreak

DD the driver was in … mmm let me think mmmm not WA BUT our answer to Bethlehem (Sydney)

Yes but he was saying it could happen here. Everyone needs to get serious about getting vaccinated.
And all those holding off for the phizer vaccine, now younger ones under 30 are reporting heart problems which has been diagnosed as inflammation of the heart. I’ll be fully vaccinated by the end next week with astra.
Sneakers hits the panic button again.
A few days out from School Holidays, literally thousands waiting to head north south and east to get the feck away and just wondering if mc clown will fark them over.
So we know that the delta strain is more contagious but has it actually hospitalised anyone that they require a ventilator and has it killed anyone here?
Or is it no more likely to kill you than the flu? Just asking.
And now I just read that the latest positive case visited Craigie Leisure Centre after she visited the same gym as the case who came back from Sydney. FMD
30,499 covid cases in Australia…109 have died. 0.0035% of those that have caught it have died in Australia.
But make sure you be very afraid…you could die at any moment.

Whole things a farcical joke, I was all for it last year, but the scare tactics have well and truly worn off with me, the infected security guard who had the super infectious UK strain that passed it onto - 0 , despite living with 6 other dudes!
There is one reason and one reason only why McGoo keeps shutting the place down and that is because our health system is under so much strain, it couldn’t cope with even a mild outbreak if it meant hospitalisations. I note this month we’ve hit an all time high of ramping nudging 5000 hours and 25% of all emergency ambulance calls cannot be attended to within the 15 minute KPI. Scary stuff if you get crook all of a sudden. The ramping situation is 3 times worse than when this mob came into power and yet McGoo enjoys almost god like status…unbelievable.
Once again it really is not abt deaths, we all know or should know that is no longer the issue it was last year and elsewhere it is abt the long term effects but hey keep bringing up the murdoch opinion pages https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-we-know-about-covid-19-and-long-term-heart-damage
Add to that the issue of our aging population and low birth rates, which is all down to Sneakers and anyone else you want lay blame with!
My suspicion about the bed shortage is that there are a lot more mental health beds required. That might be due to all sorts of things but I would say people’s uncertainty with the norms of life is taking it’s toll.
Lockdowns were sold as a way of not overwhelming the hospital beds from COVD patient’s while we get PPE’s in place.
PPE’s are now in place.
Stay home (if you want) if you have organ failure (heart, lungs, kidney ect) if you are morbidly obese, have diabetes, are on immunosuppressants, if you are above 80 etc.
I think everyone else should be allowed to choose to go about their life.

That’s why he is starting a diversion tactic to blame the St Johns, and will probably try a Gov take over of it to keep United Voice happy.
Gladdys had a fair bit to say today.Nothing about throwing the other states under the bus.
Blaming the lack of GP’s doing COVID-19 vaccinations. The storage of these vaccine’s is very tricky. They only take what they can use in a day.And an attack on Canberra for there slow roll out of the vaccine..
In the UK 80% of adults have been vaccinated. But it didn’t stop 18,000 positive cases there yesterday.Surley Gladdy you stop the infection at the source.

As vaccination rates increase, yes absolutely. You have nailed it.
State’s top Doctor & the nurses advising a snap lockdown - worse than before & no risk should be taken with this one
Singapore plans to treat Covid like the flu once they get their population fully vaccinated, they expect to reach two thirds fully vaccinated by August.
They will stop recording daily new cases but monitor who requires hospitalisation and oxygen. International travellers and close contacts won’t be required to isolate.
You can still catch the virus after any of the vaccines, but it will be significantly less serious and not require hospitalisation in just about all cases plus you are far less able to spread when fully vaccinated.
"[b]Stay home (if you want) if you have organ failure (heart, lungs, kidney ect) if you are morbidly obese, have diabetes, are on immunosuppressants, if you are above 80 etc.

Only thing with that thinking is that the people mentioned will end up being totally isolated as anyone not vaccinated would need to stay away, so do we just abandon these people and the aged who are so susceptible to the serious health risks of the virus and account for most of the deaths? What about their mental health. I hope we are better more caring country than that.
As close to full population vaccination as we can get is the only way we can deal with these never ending outbreaks, once that happens, there wont be the imperative to close everything down because the risk wont be such an issue. Sadly we are dragging our feet regarding vaccination, some is the Feds fault some is outside their responsibility, but they do need to lift their game. The media are happily going about frightening the crap out of the population regarding clotting, but the occurrence of clotting from AZ compared to the risk of clotting for women on birth control pills is around 50 times that of AZ. The risk of clotting from AZ is miniscule when compared the the risk of clotting caused by Covid which is in the range of 15% compared to 0.001%. There are far more side effects from the flu jab. There are risks everytime you go out your front door, if you don’t want the jab for fear of side effects I suggest you don’t drive anywhere, don’t swim in the ocean and don’t go out in a thunderstorm, far more risky behaviour than getting the jab.
Complacency got the viccos in the shit recently. Complacency has now got New South We’re immune in the shit. WA next?
The Premier just took over the airwaves at 8,10 or 20,10.. Theres been a second positive case by a man.Who visited the same pub as the infected lady a few days earlier.
