Yeah definitely SS I unfortunately missed a few out like Crowded House, Noiseworks, The Church, Live, Tom Petty, The Clash etc that would easily be on them.

Not music related but loved the 12th Man tapes & CDs as well back in the 80s & 90s ol Billy Birmingham was bloody hilarious!

Big metal fan Rudd?

How did you guess!! :cheer:

Have been listening to a lot of Radiohead last few weeks - going through their back catalogue. Bought OK Computer, the Bends and Kid A last week from a well known Freo record store and have them on heavy rotation at mine. Ordered yesterday a Severed Heads LP on discogs. Listened to the boss yesterday Darkness on the Edge of Town in its entirety. Great album my favourite of his. Appeals to my lumpenprolateriat sensibilities. Also yesterday listened to Deutsche Wertabeit only LP a couple of times through. Not listened to anything today - still a bit early.

Ok Computer and The Bends are classic Radiohead albums TE especially the former, Paranoid Android & Karma Police are brilliant songs.

Paranoid Android to me is their greatest song. Kid A is a grower too lets not forget Kid A.

This is a playlist that I made that features 8 hours of Australian only artists covering 60 years. It took me about a year to research because a lot of songs that I thought were British or American turned out to be Australian…like Tin Tin, Country Radio, Doug Ashdown, Birtles and Gobble, Renee Geyer, Billy Field etc

The complete list of artists are as follows - Kev Camody, Paul Kelly, Kylie Minogue, Jo Jo Zep, Goanna, Flash n The Pan, Cold Chisel, Helen Reddy, Ta Ku, The Triffids, Jon English, Ewan Jansen, Leah Flannigan, Ian Moss, INXS, Tin Tin, The Go Betweens, Ronnie Burns, Mondo Rock, Lior, Yothu Yindi, Sherbet, Slim Dusty, Silverchair, Ted Mulry, Russel Morris, Country Radio, Andy Gibb, Husky, The Saints, Doug Ashdown, Pete Murray, Skyhooks, The Whitlams, Josh Pyke, Spectrum, John Williamson, Chris Franklin, The Throb, Bee Gees, Olivia Newton John, Savage Garden, Cow Cablin, Marcia Hines, Gabriella Cilmi, Richard Clapton, Peter Denahy, Alpine, John Farnham, The Seekers, Empire of the Sun, Powderfinger, Single Gun Theory, Coloured Stone, Birtles & Goble, Midnight Oil, Gangajang, Blackfeather, Sia, Bernard Fanning, Peter Allen, Little River Band, Warumpi Band, Renee Geyer, John Paul Young, Painters and Dockers, Billy Field, The Church, The Casanovas, Vance Joy, The Masters Apprentices, Stevie Wright, Billy Thorpe, Alex Lloyd, Jacko, Daddy Cool, Crowded House, 1927, Mike McClellan, Mark Holden, Hunters & Collectors, Axiom, Bob Evans, Redgum, Kevin Johnson, Kids in the Kitchen, Tame Impala, Ross Ryan, Angus & Julia Stone, Matt Taylor, DJAC2022, Johnny Diesel, The Easybeats, Air Supply, Colleen Hewett

Birtles & Goble were old Little River Band members from memory LH and possibly together in a band or 2 before them Mississippi?

Mississippi - kings of the world…that’s the song I’ve been trying to think of to add. Cheers mate

Many of the 70’s, love a good lyricist…JACKSON BROWNE

Yeah, Radiohead are pretty experimental I guess but some amazing songs…some totally electronic, some regular guitar music. I can sort of see why people thought the Beatles transitioning from Love Me Do to The White Album was pretty wild at the time. They really pushed the boundaries. I like that.

Nice one mate - but can’t see The National Anthem from Kid A in there though or Black Star from The Bends?

Finally finished Australian songs/Australia Day. 167 songs now…should cover 11 hours.

Ok, I’ll add them in in the next day or so when I work out what number to put them.

Amazing list Mr BS. Many I love in there, some I’ve never heard of. What was the Dennis commetti band? Other notable WA bands Bungarra, Fraternity, Dave Warner

ok, I’ll look those up mate

As for Dennis Cometti, it looks in the vid like they barrack for East Fremantle and want WA to leave Australia. Funny video/song actually. You will like the intro - Subi have the game sown up according to Dennis - the lead singer doesn’t approve
