EF v Freo Thunder

I guess one can only hope EF can dust themselves off after that abysmal performance v Cl on Sat. Would like to think Strnadica gets the nod, allowing McGuire to wander either up forward or back, to help both undersized area’s. JMarsh also needs to come off his wing and either go forward or back, plenty of wing types at EF, not enough KP in all honesty. Heard that 1 EF and 3 Cl players got reported on Sat…not sure if true…but if so, I wonder who? Freo may call up a player or two with Voss out for 3 weeks, and they are playing Melboune in Melbourne on the same day…thus 25 plus a travelling emergency is the usual go.

It’s a pity Fyfe did a hammy, as he does usually draw in the punters, not very often you get a dual Brownlow Medallist playing in the WAFL, looks like the great man is cooked and surely in his last year. Though the likes of Erasmus, Narkle and Brodie are class acts at the WAFL level, so no doubt they will provide a good test for EF midfield. Usually EF has a lead at 3/4 time v Peel, and then get over run in the last…I see CL snatched a draw in their match v Peel, coming from 4 - 5 goals down and SF kept Peel at bay for the entire day last week, not saying EF are in the class of those two sides(especially not Cl), but gives hope that Peel aren’t the force they usually are, especially at this time of the year, before the wear n tear of the AFL season kicks in to Freo’s list.

We couldn’t play any worse than we did last week against Claremont.
Murdoch was our player reported. Didn’t see what happened between him & Bolton who was one of the Claremont players reported.
Definitely lacked a key tall in defense & Eastland murdered us in the ruck.
We get Peel at a good time so let’s hope we put up a competitive showing.

I’d expect a strong response this week and I’d expect we’ll take care of a depleted Peel side. For the competitions sake, hopefully the stuttering start from Peel continues for many more weeks

Getting Peel with limited Dockers will hopefully prove they are a rabble. They know as long as they have Fremantle helping them it makes them half decent. I wonder what dockers they will have this Saturday. ## Premiers

We should get Strnardica in the league team and that can free up McGuire as the missing tall in the back line or a tall in the forward line changing with Strnardica. We should also get Gorringe back this week and I’m hearing that Blackiston isn’t far away either along with Hodge.

I just seen the team and they have put Strnardica as an emergency . What the fuck is going on, we need another tall and Janno is not a ruckman. Peel may have Reedy or they will use Oscar McDonald either way Luke will dominate both of them. Last time he played int he WAFL he dominated.

They could use him changing in the forward line with Rueben. it baffles me it really does

Congrats to Jackson McManus on the debut. Interesting about Strnadica- can only assume he’s not fit enough yet but given he’s been playing- mustn’t be far away.

Huge game and that’s a pretty average Peel squad- so I think we should take the points here

I am looking at the list on the WAFL website, & I see Strnadica listed on an extended 8-man bench. He may still make the final team.

I noticed that Cocking & Montauban are outs.
Any news on why they are out? There is of course, no injury list to look over.
Gorringe is playing reserves for another week.

Not sure what the coach is thinking there playing Strnadica in the reserves again, especially if Reidy suits up…McGuire is going to get monstered for the 3rd week on the trot. I guess with no Erasmus or Brodie to worry about, Reidy’s dominance( if playing) will be lessened…hopefully!

Not sure about Cocking or Monty, injury I guess as they are no shows for the reserves game.

I agree with you Freeze. I cannot work out why Strnadica was named on the extended bench, just to be culled from the final team. Rubin must have really pissed someone off, as I cannot think of any reason that the club are trying to him killed.

Good. Strange how difficult it is for the clubs to get right. If currently accurate SF, WP and Peel are hit bad.

Strnardica wont play. I’m sick of hearing he needs match fitness, he’s played 2 weeks in the reserves and done good. Rueben is trying hard and needs help. As i said before Luke dominated the wafl last time.

Match fitness what’s that…

isn’t reserves match fitness come on it’s not his first Rodeo. Soon our saeson will slip away from us. Blackiston isn’t far away but still i think Luke should be in the league team he’d be a good match for Reedy.

Interesting to see the injury list up…no mention of Hodge though…last I heard he was in a moonboot still, and that was only last week. ?

Yep with you MSS, head scratcher why Strnadica is in the reserves…McGuire is going to get owned by Reidy, not Reuben’s fault just basic math…Reidy is physically taller and heavier than McGuire…something Strnadica is not…atleast play JMarsh up forward then for a bit height and physicality.

TFAF most of those extended injury lists for the clubs you mention aren’t even first 22 players…yeah SF definitely missing a few quality outs…but not Peel and lesser so WP…

What a day, we didn’t play all that well and still won by 60. Suck shit Peel just proves we they are a joke without
Fremantle players. I also seen their reserves got pumped kicked 3.13 . Strnardica dominated the ruck 50 hit outs

Yes a good day at the office for East Fremantle. They were rated as the underdog in this match. Good to see them bounce back after the week before.

Jack Avery 31 minute mark of the second qtr. Lmfao we Perth supporters have seen that party trick gone wrong many times before. Won’t be his last in a gummy jumper.

Heard from my sewing circle today that Jack had a change of mind and wanted to come back. Got told by the players to fuck off. Looks like you’ve done us a favour.

Sounds like he might be better off away from that loving inclusive bunch to be honest
