Yes I noticed that.
I also noticed the disrespect shown by the Simpson Medalist.
Interviewed about his Simpson Medal wearing a Fremantle Dockers polo.
Obviously Peel means a lot to the players.

Hey Df I saw something very disrespectful on sunday. One of Peel’s dockers grand finals players went out to the east Perth huddle during the ressies grand final.Imagine a eastern states docker who remembers where he got his wafl start. Also saw Xavier Ellis at the ressies and colts finals watching east perth. How disrespectful is that.
Yeah Mandurah really went off, the celebrations were long and hard..Mandurah was decked out from top to bottom in white and blue , or should that be purple…
truth be known nobody even knew they were playing…lol
If Peel has a real hard core of support they should be on here talking up their locals. Reality is they got lucky with so many experienced Dockers being available this year. Unlikely to ever happen again if the WAFC take heed of the opinions of most footy followers and so commentators. It was a perfect storm for them and they took it with both hands.
Who really cares how the Peel fans choose to celebrate their win…perhaps they are too busy watching the replay over and over again to come on here and chat about it…I guess if RD has moved on so should us all…done and dusted…the record books will always show that Peel were premiers in 2016…long after we are all gone…
DD, I couldn’t agree more. But maybe you haven’t been here when some Peel supporters have tried to make comment. They got smashed and belittled by the trolls who pervade on this site.
Maybe now the owners have given the mods the power to delete trolling post we will see more here. But I think the damage has been done.
It wasn’t just here on Oz, it was on FG as well. But if you don’t know, it doesn’t matter.
but watch next season, IF, some Peel people want to come post.
I think the current admin model of deleting anything remotely controversial, denigrating or argumentative by a dedicated mod for that thread would mean little would stay up for too long for a Peel supporter to get upset about. in saying that, general threads might be a different kettle of fish but of the unaligned clubs, no one cops it more than Subi which we have to deal with so I guess any future Peel posters on here can’t get too precious about a bit of criticism or negative opinions.
BC, when it gets personal and nasty it means something. Some here have not yet grasped the concept of what is allowed and what isn’t. When they get posts removed they still don’t understand why.
