C3 Grade 2013

From what I saw a couple of weeks ago Ellenbrook have a lot of improvement to do to even look like finishing on top.

There has been no talk of finishing on top “Maggies”, I’m expecting Noranda to the the benchmark at this stage with the 2 sides coming down to be very strong.

Anyway fixtures are out and a week before the season starts I’ll get the tipping going again I guess… but a quick look at round 1 gamess to quench the thirst:

Carlisle v Ballajura @ Carlisle Reserve
Nollamara v Armadale @ Des Penman Reserve
Belmont v Dianella Morley @ Forster Park
Noranda v East Fremantle @ Lightning Park
Ellenbrook v Cockburn @ Coolamon Oval

Whitey forgot to put the post in that I was replying too. Someone had you guy’s finishing on top. Which I think you need to improve a hell of a lot to get that spot. Good thing about it is the season hasn’t even started.

Round one tips,

Carlisle
Armadale
Belmont
Noranda
Cockburn

With one of the games to be a smashing

i think if teams are playing their best football now, they have their season back to front! glad to finally see some fixtures!

tips for round 1:
carlisle
nollamara
dianella
noranda
ellenbrook

Gents,
Good luck on the upcoming season.
Still a long way from Round 1.
Whitey, how are you mate? Will you be doing write up’s & tips this season?

Hey L-A-G, I’m well, you? The leg holding up okay during the preseason?

Yeah, I’ll keep doing the write ups - makes for good banter and the chance to have a laugh over a beer with some fellow players after the game.

Good luck in C2 this year!

Good man, I will put my two cents in with the tips. Know more about C3 than C2!

Not sure about the leg, haven’t really ran much - not much need when fielding in the slips all summer. Will hit training this week and see how we go!

You running around in the 1’s or 2’s this season?

I’ll be playing in the curtain raisers this year mate - time for the young blood to have my spot in the top side.

Welcome back everybody and great to see the banter of who is going to finish where has already started. As well as the tipping of course.

Rnd 1

Carlisle
Armadale
Belmont
Noranda
Ellenbrook

Watched part of Noranda v Coolbinia West Perth.
When the CWP coach before the games is pointing out the difference between C1 & C3 you know he’s worried.
AT the start of the game Noranda scored within 30 seconds and would have won the first 1/4 4 goals to 1 something.
Very impressed with their talls and the way they all ran hard for each other.
Not sure the final score but from what I saw they definately showed why they are this years C3 premiership favourites…

Heard that Noranda pumped Coolbinia by at least 15 goals.

Plenty of sides don’t win pre-season scratch matchs but go on to be very successful at the end of the season.
I did hear Ellenbrook have some new coachs.

Thats true, but 15 goals is a big margin! If its correct that is.

Good to see Ellenbrook maintaining form with the online dribble.

Any news from the hammersly vs Dianella scratchy?

Not too clued up about their new coach, didnt really impress in their scratchies. And yes it is only pre-season but winning form is good form.

He might just be the preseaon coach

Well known for also coaching a rival C3 club, back in D grade, years ago.
Then pulling the pin a week out from round 1.

Ol Denis from Carlisle/Belmont you mean? Think that was his name.

He the Ellenbrook coach?

The fixtures changed again yesterday - Give it another week and then I’ll start a C3 round 1 tipping thread…

Who is coaching your blokes this year Whitey?
