From what I saw a couple of weeks ago Ellenbrook have a lot of improvement to do to even look like finishing on top.

There has been no talk of finishing on top “Maggies”, I’m expecting Noranda to the the benchmark at this stage with the 2 sides coming down to be very strong.
Anyway fixtures are out and a week before the season starts I’ll get the tipping going again I guess… but a quick look at round 1 gamess to quench the thirst:
Carlisle v Ballajura @ Carlisle Reserve
Nollamara v Armadale @ Des Penman Reserve
Belmont v Dianella Morley @ Forster Park
Noranda v East Fremantle @ Lightning Park
Ellenbrook v Cockburn @ Coolamon Oval

Whitey forgot to put the post in that I was replying too. Someone had you guy’s finishing on top. Which I think you need to improve a hell of a lot to get that spot. Good thing about it is the season hasn’t even started.
Gents,
Good luck on the upcoming season.
Still a long way from Round 1.
Whitey, how are you mate? Will you be doing write up’s & tips this season?

Hey L-A-G, I’m well, you? The leg holding up okay during the preseason?
Yeah, I’ll keep doing the write ups - makes for good banter and the chance to have a laugh over a beer with some fellow players after the game.
Watched part of Noranda v Coolbinia West Perth.
When the CWP coach before the games is pointing out the difference between C1 & C3 you know he’s worried.
AT the start of the game Noranda scored within 30 seconds and would have won the first 1/4 4 goals to 1 something.
Very impressed with their talls and the way they all ran hard for each other.
Not sure the final score but from what I saw they definately showed why they are this years C3 premiership favourites…
Plenty of sides don’t win pre-season scratch matchs but go on to be very successful at the end of the season.
I did hear Ellenbrook have some new coachs.
Not too clued up about their new coach, didnt really impress in their scratchies. And yes it is only pre-season but winning form is good form.

He might just be the preseaon coach
Well known for also coaching a rival C3 club, back in D grade, years ago.
Then pulling the pin a week out from round 1.
