testing out the FG replacement forum, how many have moved over here so far that are in C3? how is training going and any insights or thought about the season ahead! we (ellenbrook) start pre-season today, so footy is back on the mind for another season
Let’s look at the sides this year…
Canningvale and St Norbets have moved up to C2 and get replaced by the relegated Cockburn Lakes and Belmont.
Coolbellup and Brentwood Booragoon drop to C4 and are replaced by grand finalists Noranda and Nollamara.
This gives us (in no particular order):
Belmont
Cockburn Lakes
Ellenbrook
Ballajura
Carlisle
Dianella Morley
Armadale
East Fremantle
Noranda
Nollamara
Don’t know about you bigred29, but I see a lot less km’s for travelling to away games for us…
i have heard a whisper that dianella morley may be struggling and request to goto C4 and also that swan view will again have a ressies side and start in C3, can anyone confirm or deny this?
Swan View had 43 players at there first training session last night!! Maybe some old faces are returning!
Hear the same rumour every year!
They had 3 sides last year so surely can atleast fill 2!
woah woah woah…
If Swanview want to come back into two grade teams surely they come through C4, and if DM want to come down to C4, then the other relegated team gets the chance to stay in C3!
100% agree bulldog, but this is what I have heard, possibly the league may think they would be too strong for C4?? i dont know, i guess time will tell!
I know another team who will be too strong for C4 also B)

Agree BD80. But why would DM want to go down? Their league just missed out on finals, their ressies were leading the prelim at half time and they had a 3rds side for depth?
Swan View were C2 in 2011 but that doesn’t give them the right to a higher grade re-entry…
Probably a bit early to know if clubs are struggling to get up, when half the teams probably haven’t had a preseason training session yet.
As BD says there are a fair few teams in C4 that would take the chance to get/ remain in C3.
all clubs in the WAAFL pay players except mine
One day I knew it wouldn’t be too long before you found your mysterious self here!! How’s the pre season this year mate??? Are you still at Beechboro???
Is frank still umpiring for dianella morley? we haven’t played against them for a few years now

Frankie still not umpiring. He does however turn up each week and stands out on the oval in uniform and from all accounts gets paid.
Dianella Morley AFC worked hard to retain its C3 status last year, narrowly missing out on finals, and the club has no intention of letting that slip.
We have an exciting season ahead with a new senior coach, a superb change rooms refurbishment and an excellent playing surface.
Please visit our website dmafc.net if you would like more information about our club.
Thank-you for your interest.
All quiet on the C3 front… everyone just knuckling down for preseason I guess.
Any news from around the traps?
Peter Agostino has joined his brother at Noranda I believe
Who would have thought there was enough room at Noranda for both Agostino’s.
And they say there is no money in amatuer footy lol!!!
Both were on good money were they were. Word is Noranda last year were a better side than Canning Vale were in C4 in 2011 but will bring much more depth to c3 having also won the reserves and thirds flags and Canning vale were premiers last year so noranda look to be early favs
