Some Perth people might be barracking for a Claremont win next week as EP are our bogey side but fck that any result that keeps us in the highest possible position on the ladder is what we should be aiming for and fear no-one. So hoping for an EP victory or a draw would be fine and Subi to cause a big upset and knock off Peelmantle.

If each Club just worry about posting Wins for themselves,they wonât have to worry about relying on others,âŚ..
PS - If both East Perth and Subi lose,that makes them 7 - 7 with 4 to go.Not too concerned about West Coast,but if West Perth bowl them over,theyâre 6 - 8 and just about Out of it!
Some injuries to Key Players in the Competition of late.
They seem to be mounting throughout the WAFL these days,but will these ones have a bearing on the outcome of the Season?
Callan England(C) - didnât catch his exact injury,but could be out for months.
Mathew Parker(SF) - his Injury hit Season hit another hurdle,with a Hamstring strain likely to sideline him for 3 weeks.Will he return for the Finals in full recovery mode?
Blake Schlengsog(P) - Another player trying to shake nagging injury worries,in his case an annoying calf issue,the latest setback resulting in a spell from 2 weeks to 4,possibly more,âŚ
Taj Schofield(S) - Another very good player fighting off a nagging injury issue,in his case a hamstring problem.The latest flare up may only be 1 week,if that or no issue at all,âŚ
Subi would be obviously hoping they donât lose his drive at the worst possible time of the Home and Away Season.
There are others,but these 4 are the latest Injuries to Gun players in the WAFL.
Syndesmosis of the ankle apparently for Callen England. Hopefully Schlensog back for the clash with Peelmantle at home.

Looks like the pack has split after today. Noone will catch Peel at the top. Perth, South Fremantle and Claremont are likely to fight out positions 2 - 4. Subiaco, East Perth and West Coast are battling for 5th spot. Some vital games over the next four week will be Subi V Perth, Perth V Peel, Subi V WCE, Souths V East Perth, Claremont v Subi and East Perth v Subiaco in round 20 which could end up as an elimination final. Perth could finish second if they can beat Peel at Lathlain in a few weeks because they finish up against Swans and West Perth which they should win.

Unless Harper Banfield is allowed to stay at West Coast and I canât imagine Claremont standing for that much longer,unless they have,they Wonât be Winning anymore games this Season.
Unless of course the Gaines Board is Now Desperate for any type of Success,theyâll start stacking their Reserves Team to say they are progressing!
They WONâT be doing anything of the sort if Richmond trip them up next week!
Meanwhile,their Reserves Team will be facing a South Side,who will be in NO Mood to drop a game like this,regardless of what time the game will be played!
And theyâll Fast Track Strom and Ruscoe in their League Team if need be,because Parker wonât be there for a couple of weeks yet!

Subi might be on last chance Saloon,if they lose next week and wonât want to get Stung a 2nd Time by West Coast.
Peel will play them on a break at Rushton,âŚnext game.
And Claremont will probably need to grab 4 more points to finish 2nd to keep Perth and South at Bay for a Home Qualifying Final.
Kyal Horsely is a good Coach already and has made them better!
But they only just got past poor old West Perth,with a Gifted 1 game ring in and their luck will run out,starting next week!

Big Blow for Claremont again with Cal England already out for a few weeks,possibly worse.
Just got revealed a short while ago on WAFL World,that Jaiden Hunter is out for the Rest of the Season and much of next Season,with a long term knee Injury.
Whatever Demons supporters think of him,letâs keep it fair here as nobody wishes any injury on any player.Real bad luck for Jaiden,given the Injuries heâs had before.
Wish him a speedy recovery.

With their win today, West Coast keep their finals hopes alive although they have the toughest draw of all the contenders in the last 3 rounds as well as a poor percentage so they probably need to win all 3 to stand a chance.
Peel confirmed that they will finish on top and get the armchair ride into the 2nd semi and potentially grand final but the other spots are very much open.
Claremont 40 points (128%) play Swans(A), Subiaco (H) and WCE(A) so with that draw I reckon they will be able to finish 2nd.
3rd is where it starts getting interesting
Perth 36 points (113%) play Peel ( A), Swans (H) and WP(A) so they should win the last two and get to 44 even if they canât beat Peel, that may be enough for 3rd depending on the other results.
South Fremantle 36 points (108%) play EP (H), EF(A) and Peel (H). Give them the EF game and they need one of the others to have a chance of third. If they lose to EP and Peel they could drop out of the five
Subiaco 32 points (106%) WCE(H), C(A), EP(H). A tough draw but they are getting players back and they might even sneak 3rd if they win all 3
East Perth 32 Points (104%) SF(A), WP(H) Subi(H). Even giving them the West Perth game they will need to beat either South or Subiaco to sneak into 5th.
West Coast 32 Points (89%) Subi (A) Peel (A), C(H) - donât think they will win any of these games. They are going to have to win an extra game to get ahead of Subaico and East Perth and despite todays win, their chances are very slim
So after all that I reckon the ladder will stay the same as it is now
Peel
Claremont
Perth
South Freo
Subiaco.
Of course an upset or two by the bottom 3 sides could throw all these predictions out the window.
This is the best end to a WAFL season for a number of years, will probably go down to the last day before everything is settled

Iâll go as far as putting forward that South will not win another game this season
that display today spoke volumes and then some
East Perth will easily account for us next week
from there it will all be downhill
Old Easts wonât miss us trust me
and then Mandurah stacked full last up
Inclined to think we will beat EP and East but get towelled up by Peel SouthyâŚ
As for the finals well going well we can mix it up with a few of them but wont matter as Peel will walk it in..
Might win one final all going well but it most likely ends thereâŚIF we even make it.

Peel should wrap up top spot this weekend against Perth.
Claremont will make finals and if they can win 2 of the last 3 then they should secure 2nd spot.
From there its anyone guess on how 3rd to 7th will finish up.
Going to be a fun 3 weeks of football ahead.
