They Lost either side of that game on the Road.
1st to Claremont,then 2 weeks later to Subi.
Looks like the only dead rubber in round 18 will be WP and EF. All other clashes have a major bearing on the make up of the top 5.
I notice Ruscoe and Noah Strom have come off the injury list for Soufs so looks like both will return from their midseason sabbatical. Obviously good timing for them not so EP.
I go in with very little confidence for our clash with Fremantle until I see what gets published on Thursday night. That will either give me hope or despair.
Subi supporters will be a lot like me I guess waiting for what comes out on Thursday night or is it Friday for the princesses? In any case Subi supporters you will have no clue who you are up against until they run out.
Hoping Bassendean Oval is pumping and the Swannies get to sing the song after the game.

Despite their loss to Peel, it was a good afternoon for Perth due to South and Subiaco losing. The Dees now just have to win their last two games against Swans and West Perth and they will finish 3rd. If they manage that then it becomes a scramble for 4th and 5th between 4 teams. West Coast are hanging in admirably but a loss to Peel next week along with their poor percentage will rule them out. Subiaco are probably going to need to beat Claremont next week to stay in the hunt and then it may be a shoot out between them and East Perth for a spot. The Royals certainly strengthened their claims today and may yet sneak into 3rd if Perth slip up
Assuming they win the Derby next week, South should limp in to the finals but probably wont go past week 1
All this is pretty academic given that Peel are raging favourites and the only team that seems to be even close to challenging them is Claremont

Very good post mike from a neutral whoâs team is out of the running so itâs completely unbiased.
Itâs interesting because as a Perth supporter you can look at it two ways. Gee we are 3rd on the ladder going into the last two games with 9 wins. But it might surprise some people that we won 11 games last season to finish 5th so we are yet to achieve 11 wins.
Whatâs changed is itâs been a year where several clubs that were tipped to be the top 3 being SF, EP and Claremont have all faltered presenting my club with several opportunities to capitalise which we have failed to do.
Another way of looking at it is we have probably put together the 3rd best streak behind Fremantle and Claremont with their 6 and 0 start with a midseason run of 5 wins out of 7 and thatâs where we currently sit, in 3rd spot.
