WTF is going on. Cam Green should of had 2 wickets in 2 balls. No ball on review by a bees dick then next ball Webster like a rabbit in the headlights standing like a statue at first slip while the ball whistles past his ears. Even Carey could have and should have swallowed it. Bowling well Greenie deserves a wicket or 2 today.

right now, he is going no better than Konsta’s was last summer, and he is about 8 years older. It’s funny that at the highest level there is that much scrutiny and video reviewing of players and people that can get away with deficiencies in their game at the lower level just don’t survive for long at test level.

Come on BH the facts state Weatherald has averaged over 50 the last 2 seasons, whilst Renshaw under 30…considering Renshaw averages under 30 for tests, not sure where you are coming from…yep I get it Renshaw probably deserves a crack now v SA in Aug…but Weatherald hss been given a go, no doubt has a test similar average to Renshaw…so nothing lost TBH…Weatherald was worth the look

Interesting you take a snap shot of 4 - 5 matches of Renshaw over 2 seasons worth of sub 30 knocks…Weatherald was worth a crack, obviously found out technically…like Renshaw was after his initial test exposure…Green has a better FC average and test average then both…despite being younger…yeah he is struggling, but understand why they persevere with him…

Webster batted beautifully when he came…cashed in on the good work Smith and Green did during a difficult period after losing 2 quick wickets to the new ball in Uzzie and Carey…Carey flicking to leg slip…again!
Not sure how anyone could say Green should of stayed in the sheds…Green came out with Australia still behind…just lost 2 quick wickets to a brand new cherry, out of form, under huge scrutiny, and pressure, formed a valuable partnership with Smith, took some gloss off the red cherry, which enabled Webster to come in and help build that lead with the skipper.
Great team effort from both Green and Webster. Good to see someone with some cricketing nous in Smith, acknowledge both players efforts…
Rack up another 70 - 80 runs, and hopefully get some quick wickets with the new ball…Eng will no doubt try and Bazball their way to a 150+ lead…hoping Aust will fall a part on day 5

today from the SCG we saw two great innings from two of the most unorthadox batsmen in World cricket.. Maybe the two most unorthadox batsmen.
