Strange game - didn’t think we played that well. Got the fast start and seemed content to just hold the 3-4 goal lead through out the game
Thought Subi were way off for a side looking for 20 straight wins. Never really challenged despite getting the rub of the green from the umps again. Haven’t seen a lot of Liam Ryan but on what I saw the guys a mile away from AFL level. Completely out pointedly by Nyhuis who isn’t in Freos best 22. Work rate and defensive pressure was below average for WAFL level. Needs to crumb more instead of trying to fly for hangers all the time. AFL clubs want small forwards that do these 3 elements of the game well. Given the hype on him from others that have seen more of him I’m sure hes better than last week.
I hope Cockie got an easy slim or weight watchers membership for Father’s Day. Fark me the guys at least 10 kegs overweight. Cheap shot on Suban too. I don’t think any players got rubbed out by the tribunal but Wheeler, Lockyer and Dawson should have.
Luke Ryan, Tabener, Lawler, Hancock and Collins get the votes. Local talent of both sides was pretty even despite the number of aligned players.
Would like to see South get through this week but I think Subi will bounce back.
