2026 for EP

Not yet Archie.

But you guys missing 3 Crunch Players in the long run, certainly won’t help.

In terms of numbers, I’ve always thought that injuries are like free kicks, Grassy.

It’s not so much how many free kicks you get but where you get them (or concede them) that matters.

So it is with injuries - it’s more a case of who is injured rather than how big an injury toll a club may have.

However, on the flipside, just as being on the receiving end of an umpire’s wrath can impact team morale, so too can a massive injury toll.

For EP to be any chance of salvaging something out of the Rushton Park wreck, we’ll (the Royal We) need to rebound against West Coast on Friday (although I’m not a fan of night games, it’s preferable to next Sunday, when the Weagles will have their emergency players back from Melbourne).

Then, there’s a very important Fourth of July clash against your in-form outfit.

I think 10 wins and a good percentage will enable a team to make the final five, which - from a Royals’ perspective - is why yesterday’s abomination against the Thunder is like two losses.

Hold Firm then,East Perth.

Stick with this Friday anyway, but don’t be surprised if there is a Fixture Day swap request.

Let your Board know, not to get conned into being swayed by that lot.

Only Real Bad Weather can do that.

Archie and Old D,unless Freo get a spate of injuries,we’re all playing for second, and after Regans potential season ending injury, as well as Stan Wright doing a calf, our seasons come a complete “Gutsa”although I’d like someone like the Demons play off in a Grand Final.

Despite the strength of the Peel side,we were very disappointing, and I’ve got to say that I really can’t see why Cooper Stephens was so highly touted and why 5 clubs were chasing him,and Luke Foley is just a handy player at best who lacks pace, and I hope he didn’t cost us too many points.

Stephens looked good against us in round 1, maybe he’s carrying something atm. Foley was a good colts player but is over rated at league level imo, similar to Ainsworth

I don’t think Schofield would’ve lost a lot of sleep losing him.

Very doubtful

Yep it’s official, Cooper Stephens is the new Nick Robertson as he’s injured again with an Achilles injury and Stan Wright is out to round 16,and I can’t for the life of me understand why Zac Raykos is an emergency when you look at tomorrow nights very thin midfield, and surely after being on a player permit with the Harvey Bulls and playing a reserves game,he would’ve had enough of a fitness base to come straight back into the league side??

Has to work off the home made plonk & ding snag

Even with the daily night serve there of Arancini balls,I’d still play him.

I smell a big loss Lucky, what are your thoughts.

We’re gonna struggle Larry.

Great fighting win fellas. Note another pre-game out. Angus Scott replaced by Zac Raykos. Hope it’s nothing serious.

Great win, especially with Scott a late out but thankfully Raykos came in and was very serviceable but Pizzalante!! what a surprise packet with his 2 goals,Teddy was fantastic and I thought Foley played his best game and that was a good win with a very depleted side, although Medhat who came in tried hard but is probably a bit under sized for CHB.

Fantastic to notice East Perth grabbed the chocolates. Got the four points and the bonus of getting the weekend off :slightly_smiling_face:

Perhaps they better participate in more friday night matches?

In Autumn and late Winter Guy,if an early Spring breaks out.Any sign of Bad Weather, send it back to daytime, where various draws allow them to,unless they play Subi all the way through it.

Was watching the coverage on 7 plus. Ground looked in pretty good condition. East Perth played a great 3rd quarter into the breeze which got them over the line. Good 4 points for them given injury situation

Well, this is my Narrative in case Mr Landsmeer reads this forum.

The Big Boys in town can be beaten,if WAFL Clubs put their minds to it!

Can’t wait for Before The Footy.

Just on the coverage, any danger of the cameraman mastering the long range Zoom shots!!! He or She must still be on work experience,as a lot of the action was out of focus.

Any chance the commentator could get some names right.
