Very harsh Lucky, we will miss the big fella when he retires though. We played a bit better in the second half but I think next week will be difficult. It looked like Claremont might play dead today but credit to them for playing in the spirit of the competition.
I donāt want to be too critical of the poor bugger,but Jedd Edwards is Graham Moss compared to Spasevski,and we have Sebit to thank for his efforts in the ruck in the second half,as I was looking for the exit door at half time,such was my disgust.

Lucky, I fully agree with you about Sebitās sterling second-half efforts yesterday.
Heās too lightly built to be a teamās No.1 ruckman but, as a back-up, heās ideal.
Given that our elimination final against SF will likely be next Sunday, hopefully Scott Jones is ready to go - because weāll certainly need him against Hamish Free.
Of yesterdayās first half, Subi were dynamite but our blokes seemed to be in Disneyland for much of that first hour.
We need a fit and firing Scott Jones Arch,because if heās anything less,we may as well not turn up,although they make a beautiful Gyros Pita,with excellent tzatziki sauce at the Fremantle markets,so I might just turn up just for that.
Must admit i left early, was very disappointed in our efforts but as per being early is not uncommon for me. Yep have to agree that there was a reason why the back up ruckman was always an emergency, bit like a broken record. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do if Jones is not fit. Once again, our backline did well despite the Subi barrage they had to suffer. I think Cassidy & Lindberg should hold their positions, but a couple of others need to lift their efforts.
If you did not see the reserves, you missed seeing an outstanding 18-year-old show why he is so highly rated, Walsh is just on another planet (and yes I know it was a reserves game).
Hope West Coast didnāt punch him for a few games.

They have no access to him Demon. Agree Grump Walsh is something different athletically. Definitely the most upside I think of any player I have seen come through EP. Tasmania will be locking him in shortly so what that means next year for him I donāt know. Iām assuming he will be playing VFL.

Gee Sebit is a frustrating player,the reason we outscored Subi 7 goals to 4 in the second half,after conceding 10 to 1,was wholly and solely due to him,so why canāt he do this every week and use his unmatched explosive athleticism on a regular basis??
Sebit came off the ground in the first quarter and was making some loud, weird noises sitting on the bench. I donāt know if he had an injury or not, but he got over it and played the best game I have seen from him in a long time.
He copped a big shirtfront which floored him in the first half,so maybe thatās what fired him up in the second half,and snapped him out of his casual attitude.
A special mention for the desperately unlucky Brad Fullgrabe,who remarkably played his 50th yesterday,a decade after he made his league debut,and I thought he was fantastic in his first league game for 18 months,and a clearly underdone Hamish Brayshaw stood up in the last quarter and helped prevent an embarrassing early season exit.
