I have always respected the Burgers skill level and know the forward pocket can be a graveyard for players. Didn’t think he would like the physical stuff in the midfield on a winters day. He has done ok but we are lacking a midfielder that can break the lines.
I reckon going back to the reserves may have suggested to him that he needed to do more and to his credit he has come back in the two games and shown a lot more endeavour. The query for me is will he continue the form and desire, hopefully he does and proves my opinion of him wrong!

We’ve finally found the right forward formula,and all credit to Tom Medhat for hanging in there and not spitting the dummy,and I think we’ve found a beauty in Andre Gullini,who has that rare line breaking pace,and he’s in to stay as far as I’m concerned.
I looked at the WAFL website stats, Lucky, and was amazed that Andre Gulluni had 21 possessions.
He seemed to play better the longer the game went and, along with Coby Burgiel, Tyler Lindberg and Jayden Peak, gives us the midfield-forward zip that we’ve previously lacked.
Well done to Tommy Medhat on booting five goals, and combined with Sebit Kuek (four), Ben Middleton (three) and Mitch Schofield (two), it was good to see our “tall” forwards all click in the same game.
We’ll certainly need more of the same next week, as Subiaco will be cock-a-hoop at still being “alive” after their eighth game decided by less than a goal (four wins, four losses), which must be close to a WAFL record.
A good day at the office today against the “old enemy”, but I hope our backmen do away with kicking across goal when we’re in our defensive 50, as we gifted the Falcons 3-4 goals through disposal errors.
A few youngsters are starting to emerge Arch,and a Peel without a Darcy or a Cox are looking quite beatable,so I’m starting to think that the pieces maybe falling back into place,and isn’t great to see the rock solid Jacob Msando back in defence.

But my crystal ball tells me we could be losing him after this season. His partner has just been de-listed (or whatever they call it in Netball) from the West Coast Fever and has signed with the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
Yes, I saw the same thing. I guess he will end up at the closest Queensland club to their (Lightnings) Netball centre.

I got into “Ünofficial EP” via Tapatalk, tried to add it to “Favourites”but it didn’t work.
Somebody up there must be reading this Forum, “Unofficial EP” is now OK again.
I’ve given up for now. Hopefully it just a hickup and not the group being shut down. I’ll give it another go tomorrow.
