Jacob Landsmeer was saying he suffered osteitis pubis last year. Best remedy for that is rest so rather than being underdone I reckon it’s been a wise move by Jesse to give the body a rest and looks rejuvenated to me. Slotted in beautifully. I think I like him better down back, can throw him forward if need be. Played both in the VFL.

At the Presidents lounge tonight appreciating the Past Players and Officials putting on some snacks and serving behind the bar. Salt of the earth people and much loved.
Interestingly the players trained in The Eagles Hanger for around 45 minutes before a 20 minute session in the rain. Good to see that we are getting to use the facilities next door. I think our relationship with them has improved.
Around a fifth of the number of supporters tonight compared to last Friday. Are we getting tired of winning? Or was the rain, no sausage sizzle and a game of AFL on the TV the reason. I would like to think we don’t get such a drop off in attendees on Sunday.

Well Scobes will need some juice in the ankle and strapping. Noticed Luers been added to the emergencies in place of Preston-Coates. Presty must have failed a fitness test.
Doubt we’ll see Simpson again Ted but you never know. We win tomorrow and maybe the selectors might be prepared to roll the dice that he can get through a game.

Weird that they don’t have Edwards as an Emergency
Watching the colts game the outer side is a construction site. Where the hell is 5k+ supporters going to watch from? This final couldn’t have been at a worse ground. And the turf is a mud heap.

Gee Claremont and WP colts have some tall lads. That never surprises me at Claremont always stacked with tall talent but apparently that’s due to hard working talent scouts and development programs. Do they feed them as well?
