WP go in with Hamilton probably at full back, he didn’t play the last time the two teams met. Another fellow who didn’t play the last time is Hobley. This kid is a very good footballer and he will bother the Perth forwards. Also Perth have to put their best defenders on Keitel, Patterson, Lourey and that little bugger Knott. The midfield players have increased, Black, Nelson, Meadows, West, Manzone and a bloke called Peirce. Hopefully the weather calms down, and its a good game. Well done to the Perth Demons to play in a final.
Have noticed West Perth going into the match as slight favourites.
Is interesting to notice West Perth have scored 36 (and averaging 9) Home Goals this season. Whilst Perth kicked 30 (and averaging 10) Goals in their Away matches.
West Perth’s offence rate is currently at 21.4% and Perth’s is better on 26.3%.

What a good game of football. The respect shown by both teams and spectators was amazing. All credit must go to the people who attended the game. The game at times was like soccer , rugby , basketball and wrestling. My friend Brian who guides me through the game said this is what Western Australian football was like many years ago. WOW.

STD I think Brian would of explained to Raptor that in Australia the umpire is an easy target for the blame of losing a game rather than blaming the team who had a 5 goal cyclonic wind in the last qtr and wasted that advantage.

wp have been a top club since the beginning of time – no wooden spoon since the early nineties; overall, they have had far too much help from Subi, Leonard, Dimmer and Billy M, have all won the bloody flags for them.
as I said in a previous post, WP won because they had the better side and lifted when the game was in danger of being lost; even after that free kick, Perth were still in front, and would have won the game had they been good enough.
