Why is it that so many Eagles supporters, who offer unbounded advise and abuse to other clubs, find it particularly offensive and unpalatable when the same sort of advise is given about their side?

The way i see it all clubs have there one eyed supporters and all clubs have there outspoken supporters,

The Eagles cop it once this season and whinge like spoiled children, the Dockers cop it week in week out and are expected to toughen up.

I was working part time at Subi for the catering company in 1995.I went to the rooms before they traveled to Waverely to take on Essendon.I said I was a Dockers supporter , but wished them the very best.I had water thrown at me, other crap thrown, told to piss off wanker, fuck off wanker,and other such crap.And you wonder why I detest the Eagles!!!

In truth, both sides representted different degrees of mediority this season. In particular, the Eagles were fortunate they ran into a weak PA side on two separate occassions, once during the season and once during the finals; otherwise, as we kow, there would have been no finals appearance let alone a fluke victory in a final which went to extra time.
I wonder if Mr Simpson will put that in his review of the season? No matter, because the Eagles will know what I mean.

The fact they made finals and then won the PA finals game has well and truly got Simmo and the Club off the hook for 2017, they will be able to put that down as a decent performance which is a world away from where they were coming up against Carlton, had they dropped that , missed finals I have feeling Simmo was just about out the door, check oyt social media now, it all positive stuff from WCE folk claiming it was a good season and the boys "brave " despite the smashing at the hands of GWS.
They can glide easily into 2018 with plenty of renewed memberships for the club at the new stadium which will be a huge relief for club officials considering what they were looking at just a few weeks ago. Its all about the money.
Talking about Finals underachievers how about that AFL funded mob Sydney with blokes like Franklin etc paid added extras over the salary cap and they have done diddly squat for years in fact seem to choke big time at the G!
