I see the walking ego KP as being the first to be told his services are no longer required.
I see Panesar being told the same thing.
I see Matt Prior being told he is no longer seen as the number one keeper in the side.
With Trott already gone and Swann as well,there seems to be gaping holes in the make up of the side.
While I see Cook as a good player,I don’t think he is the best to be the captain of the side.He allows too many players to dictate what is going to happen.He is not strong enough to lead the side in the circumstances they just faced.He just went along for the ride and was captain in name only.
Players like Anderson and Broad had far too much say in what went on on the field and caused so much time wasting.
From the white wash only Stokes can hold his head high the rest left what ever they had in the kit bags in the dressing rooms.
Huge changes due to come from this disaster,and that may include people like Gooch and Flower.
Interesting times ahead for English cricket.

He went ok when all was rosey in the Old Country but when the going got tough here he just sat back and waited for something to happen.His strike bowlers let him down and he had npthing to come back to,
Me neither Anchor. That’s why I asked you. Cook looked like a captain playing not to lose rather than trying to win. Maybe they could import some new blood in to the English system for a quick fix…wouldn’t be the first time :whistle:
Maybe they can do what they did before and find another Mike Brealey,couldn’t play but the players would run through brick walls for him.
Which begs the question Anchor, who amongst the Brits would their cricketers run thru brick walls for. Will or Harry maybe… Nigella Lawson? President Obama? I say hand the captaincy to Monty Panesar. I feel they have to stick with Cook as captain. I can’t see anybody else that can take over.
