Apparently next Saturday we are going to be the only sporting club to have its own 24/7 radio station internet of course… how cool
Not sure what they are going to talk about apart from how fkn useless we are at the moment…

hahaha, yeah we kept at them but just missed out. Fucking Worabec is a spud, Bolton is a protected species and was looked after big time. How was that last centre clearance when he tried to break two tackles, dropped the ball and old Wozza gave him a kick for holding, the place erupted but fortunately we got it back. It was only that poster by Strijky and the mark 15m out on a slight angle that Black took just before the siren was mysteriously touched, Chalmers shot after the siren was a tough one.
Anyway that is just about our season shot, tough run home from here, we will be 100% out of the 5 next week as Swans have Perth and someone has EF, Morrow gone again.
At any given time of day their is a soccer match being played somewhere in the world Fakcon. Know your audience and cater to it If you wanna succeed:P
Delusions of Grandeur never cease to amaze, first interview, the boys mother on how good he is and why he should be drafted!
Hahahahahahahahahahaha seriously???

YEP just ask her!
Does anyone know if the frequency is going to be AM or FM? If it’s only FM, what’s the bloody point of it? If being transmitted on AM, at least some people in the rural areas might be able to receive which would be fantastic!
Old mate just told me they are going to pump commentary out in the grand stand via the pa system. Not a very good idea as it invades the comfort of watching the game.
Radio station a good idea though just keep it for those who want to hear it
Not True! not league game anyway
EXCITING NEWS FOR FALCONS FANS
This Saturday’s International Round at HBF Arena sees an Australian sporting first with the launch of ‘Falcons Radio’ - a seven day a week online radio station with everything red and blue. From past players to game replays, news about our district, development, women’s footy, club events, all grades, and in depth profiles so you get to find out more about our players and coaches.
You’ll also hear every game live via our website and Facebook page.
Specifically this Saturday, Footy Radio will be calling the Colts game live from the ground, with commentary played in the grandstand so you can hear the call whilst you watch. We’ll also be videoing the games to replay and provide highlights packages, with a view to providing more coverage and content from the Falcons in the future.
We will also be calling the League game live and whilst not broadcast into the grandstand, you can listen to both games live online - either through the WAFL app, our website, or our Facebook page.
This is ground breaking exposure and engagement for the entire club and we look forward to the support of our loyal supporters and sponsors to show why West Perth is such a great club.
Grandstand commentary in the colts please!
Some tinny speaker system barking out footy commentary. Dumb.
I will be leaving at the end of the colts with a migrane
The app is a good idea
I listened to the broadcast last week from china. Good job, exciting finish
Whoever is behind the West Perth radio idea should be commended. Been a great service for Falcons supporters who live outside the metro area and can’t get to games. Enjoy listening to and getting a great description of all three games throughout the day. Shame we only get the service for home games but maybe other clubs will start their own service.
based on last Saturday’s performance the most requested song from the players is “please release me let me go” by Engelbert Humperdink. ![]()
