WCE v FFC

Eagles should win the Derby, but if they don’t then I think it could be a positive. It’s no secret that we have a few crabs getting a run in front of a few promising kids. A loss could ring waring bells with Simmo. After all, the WCE don’t tolerate sitting at the bottom for long. He might get a nudge from management.

Freo by 4 goals.

Can the dockers score 4 goals?

Yeah their skills are horrible, that was the difference in the end basic skills.

They certainly know how to score more than 4 pts…atrocious skills, decision making…Geelong must be laughing getting something for Kersten…fark he was useless…but hey he had plenty of mates out there

Freo need a marking fwd or move Fyfe or Mundy down there perminate. Despite Freos effot ther Eagles defence stood firm.

Why is there so much hot air in the media over these 2 over hyped sides?
That game was nothing short of an appalling standard of football from 2 overpaid, over hyped clubs!

BH: correct – some of the the mistakes they make you would not see in the WAFL. I don’t blame the players for being less skilful than they were thirty years ago, I blame the coaches whom insist on playing a style, which, being so exhaustting, actually encourages mistakes and poor skills.

gtr: I have come to the same conclusiona as you about Fremantle’s captain: he should be played in the forward line.

It doesn’t matter where you play on the ground Ark in AFL .You get smashed and bashed every game you play.Ive been watching Dangerfield the last few Cats games. He gets smashed into or in to the ground about 10 times a game.I know Fyfe not the best at kicking straight when the man’s on the mark. But he can practise next pre-season.He can lead mark overhead would of been handy in 2nd qtr. When the game was played in Freos fwd line.In the midfield getting smashed every week.I don’t think I’ve seen Fyfe a 100% fit the last 2 years.

FYFE

Freo can concentrate on Stacking their Reserves Team, good and proper the next 6 weeks now!

Grassy you might find Freo will play even more of the reserves in Purple to find out how they are going.
Have to admit that was a shocking game of football, from both sides. The thing that got the Toasters over the line was their experience. They held it together for them.
Full credit to the Freo boys, they kept coming, but couldn’t quite get it done.
Yep the Toasters got the four points, but in reality, I think Freo had a win.The Toasters are using cigarette paper to cover cracks. While Freo are going through a rebuild. From memory Freo fielded six players with less than 50 games between them.
