It’s looking very likely Worsfold won’t look for a contract extension next year. In the case John pulls the pin, who is going to be selected? Burns would be up there, but reckon Roos showed no interest in the Melbourne gig for a reason. It wouldn’t surprise me if he and the WCE haven’t had fruitful discussions.

I think Woosha will go for sure. He looks disinterested this year, not that I blame him with all the issues going on with his wife etc.
I would love it if Roos came to WCE. He is a proven fantastic coach, and I think that he would prefer to take over WCE list than Melbournes (who wouldnt!?)
It would also add some extra flare to the WCE vs Sydney rivalry.

Woosha has been a great coach and I think he has a great influence on all players, rookies to seniors.
But to be honest, we have gone backwards this season. I wouldnt mind if we got a different coach at year end. Scotty Burns is well respected and I think he would do a great job, but getting someone like Roos would be even better, he is a recognised and proven great coach. If Woosha, Burns or Roos coaches the eagles next season I will be happy.

I dont mind if Woosha stays on but i reckon he needs to find a new game plan and one that has a plan B attached to it,may be time if he stays also to change up 1 or 2 of the assistant coaches.
Also he must recruit and inject some much needed pace into the midfield as well as imo find a tall KP for CHF so Darling can be realeased purely as a floating type half forward and then they dont have to rely so much on the ruckmen playing as the second tall in the forward line.
Like all clubs…a small nippy goal kicking forward wouldnt go astray either.

He’s a Premiership coach.
Theres no doubt his coaching style of the mid 2000’s is not working with this group and no doubt he has to tweak his game plan and of course like all the other clubs wish for that he can recruit 1 or 2 established players from other clubs.
And you know he will get a 2 or 3 year term.
Whilst on coaches contract extensions the rest of the comp will be hoping Swans offer Harding the term you so generously want for Woosha.
