A great attacking half back line and the forwards come together well too. Missing a true ruckman and a bit light on mids although Liam Ryan and Tholstrup could swing through at a pinch.

BC, yep still the ruck problem but in saying that Miller because of injuries, was richmondās no 1 ruck last year or the year before, and acquitted himself well against the aflās best big men. Much better ruckman than Eaton. No spot for Kitch mate?
Yes DG, I thought about Miller in the ruck after seeing your team but at 198cms, heās still undersized for a ruckman and only 3cms taller than Eaton who has the prodigious leap as we know. I also like Big Ben down back as a key defender which is his role now at the Tiges. Kitch could come in for the likes of Collard or similar, but heās getting a bit long in the tooth for a mid these days. ![]()
Miller is definitely preferable at chb BC, bit I donāt know if anyone has mentioned it yet butā¦we need a bloody ruckman ![]()
Haha Kitch would beg to differ Iām sure, but he did play like a young bloke last week v the ferals
[quote=āhard DD post=236608 userid=1749ā]Fantasy time. They all come back and play a season in the WAFL. Letās assume every team is at full strength. What is the top 5 and who plays off in the grand final? Claremont you think and who? Swans and EF the favourites I think and my team is just outside the 5.
Claremont
EF
SD
Subiaco
EP
Perth
SF
WP

Bumping this topic up to jolt Tiger Tales memory on facts.
EF bump up to 21, with Urqhart and Blakiston currently on AFL listsā¦
Just a reminder for you Claremont supporters.
Can add Jaren Carr who was at SF and got drafted to Fremantle.
I did this about 25 yrs ago. Made up WAFL teams based on the idea if every player who got drafted came back and played for their club of origin. I know Iām a one red eye and one white eye kind of guy, but the team SF could have had in the 90ās was unbeatable. Iāll try and list some off the top of my head now . . .
John Worsfold, Peter Sumich, Peter Matera, David Hart, Glen Jakovich, Allen Jakovich, Mark Bairstow, John Doroditch, Peter Worsfold, Nicky Winmar, Brett Spinks, Dean Rioli, Peter Bell, Clem Michael, Phil Matera, James Clement, Jeff Farmer, Darren Gaspar, Scotty Waters, Dean Irving, Brad Hardie and even the McGrath boys were playing late 90ās . . . Iāve no doubt Iāve missed some but that group of players is a whoās who of AFL in the 1990ās!!
Try doing that exercise today dogman and Claremont would dominate. Most clubs would struggle to field a side.
Interesting to see SD had 17 on that listā¦great effort considering where their zones areā¦i wonder if their zones is what the WAFC boss is talking about how āsome zones are managed and harvested better than othersā.
Perhaps you could download a budget and tell me how many players on Swans league, reserves and colts come out of postcode 6056? Perhaps they arenāt managing and harvesting the aboriginal and migrant kids there very well.
Bunbury, South Bunbury, Carey Park feature heavily along with the Swan Valley and hills areas, Upper Swan JFC, Lassalle College etcā¦
Perhaps BH, mikeh or one of the other SD boys could provide that info R&Bā¦As I said I wonder if SD zone is what that ex Perth fella overseeing all this, is referring too in regards to good management and harvesting of zonesā¦as 17 is top 3 in that research of yoursā¦not a bad effort at allā¦
There is no need to rinse and repeat yourself champ. Youāve got loads of time to troll people for the fun of it to satisfy yourself but donāt want to put a few minutes into downloading a budget and see the facts for yourself.
Letās hope you donāt carry your attitude into the workplace otherwise in your sick mind some would be entitled to a better level of care than others.
Who would know what our metro zone even is these days?
The WAFC have taken the likes of Ellenbrook, Beechboro, Caversham all off us and handed to EP & ditto Chittering and surrounds to Perth.
I cant believe you have faith in the WAFC making the correct decisions?
Werent they the same mob who gave SF concessions for this year when not even needed and who then went on to have the most dominate season in years sheesh!! ![]()
Considering Callahan is getting paid the big bucks to do all that. I will leave him to prioritize whose zone needs helpā¦it was a good read that articleā¦thanks TFAF for downloading and sharing it mate, much appreciated.
