Vv Peel

I like our chances this game. Only reason being I am going to back history, every time we go to Mandurah and we are rogue underdogs, we end up winning:)

Chunder is your bitch W. Your team usually annihilates the Chunder. But your team is looking a little shaky lately.

Quite correct DD we are a little shaky but still pretty competitive .The boys have shown a lot of heart but our depth has been tested with the injury list we have but that’s just part of the game- other sides are in a similar position. The payoff is our next generation of players is getting game time and experience so that our premiership window is closer than further away. The strong culture we have engendered especially in the last few years will be the strength that gets us that premiership sooner rather than later.
So far as Peel game is concerned I doubt we can enforce the “bitch” clause this time. They have too much AFL strength across the lines and strengths especially in our weak areas.Encouraging that Johnson ,Kernutt and Lynch are back but they will be short of a run and against a side of predominantly AFL full timers that’s going to be a challenge. One thing I do know is that they will try their hardest and the young guys will be a step closer.
Unfortunately I will be away for the next 3 games but should be able to get scores.I hope they make attractive reading.

Go easy on those 16 yr old boys this week fella’s.

Nah little leaguers this week Freeze - and not wearing boots either!

dark day

What can one say of that?
I realise the wind could have factored because it was windy in our locale. However only kicking 1 Goal 7 minors in the first half is simply poor stuff.

Peel, too fast, too big, too AFL. It was one of those days where for some unknown reason it all just stuffs up. We has six seniors down but even with those blokes in the side, I don’t think it would of made one iota of difference. If it was a wet day we may have had a chance but it is what it is, just one of those days. Good to see the ressie’s win.

Swans have suffered some massive defeats down there as well in the past few years. The place is becoming a bit of a fortress for them

It must have been all those 16yo’s playing for you guys that was the cause.

Feds going by that scoreline mate, those little leaguer’s you spoke of, they could do with some boots mate. Word of warning though, don’t give them free ones, it will cost you next year in premiership points.

Good one Freeze….. but apparently we are coming up with Plan B for the league side next week.We are going to field the best 18 from the local Year 7 high school and we were scouting the maternity section of Joondalup hospital for the interchange bench.Going all right until we got push back from the mothers because it interfered with their feeding time.Would have severely impacted on our rotations.Looks like we might need a Plan C!

I assume by 'Plan C" Feds, you are talking newly born C section neonates mate? Just make sure they have had their umbilical cords snipped and their Vit K injections before donning their WP jumpers and boots.

Nothing was going to stop them today, don’t care who played against them. Thank christ we gave some sort of effort otherwise it would have been a 30 goal loss. Peel will win it this year, its just a matter of who they play. It makes me laugh how the snipers come out of the woodwork, what goes around, comes around.

freo v old easts again mate. Not sure they will beat old easts though. old easts still have the marsh bros and the bloke from swans/blues who was leading the sandover before he did his knee plus others to come back in

Whinnen, no one is sniping mate…just calling out and taking the mick when sone folk blantly make excuses by telling porkies…that “we played 4 x 16 yr olds” line was hilarious, atleast Feds can see that, and self depreciate by joining in on the banter. I have no doubt we will all be on the receiving end from you and the other WP boys at some point this season…it’s called banter mate.

Freezin not sure if your occupation crosses over to the veterinary side but I’ll ask do think it’s too late to get my parvo vaccine before the May 25 clash at dog shit park between the Sharks and the Dees? Nearly ended up with a bit of toe jam standing outside the boundary fence a couple of years ago while wearing thongs. Maybe I’ll just wear my Julius Marlows instead.

I don’t know if he’s stationed in Carnarvon, but on yesterdays performance you need your club stalwart Constable Dobbo back ASAP,as his chinless colleague obviously needs some backup.

Dobbo would have been really handy, only if we could get the ball over the 50-metre line. We had 6 seniors out, 9 the week before. It’s a big ask to bring blokes up from the ressies to cover 6 senior players and to play those Peel blokes. So, the commentators are saying, oh, how good are Peel, lets see how they go against a full EP or EF side. So boys put the boots in, but one day it will happen to your club, hopefully its against West Perth.

TBH DD, I think after nearly 50 years of watching the PFC, you would have a cast iron immunity by now…so no vaccinations needed.
