Very quiet with news on drafts over on the Dockers web site.I am wondering just who we are after, and at what position we are at with them.
Gumbleton seems to be the main one,but interest also in Hansen from the Roos.though it seems from reading around that both seem to have kissed and made up with their respective clubs.
If we miss out on them who are we after!!!
I don’t think they need to make many changes. They were looking quite promising towards the end of last season…
They have been after Goddard and Cloke for the last 6 months, but failed to get them.
So that is it for them as far as big recruits for 2013.
No need to be super active and just take for taking sake.
Pearce will be a good get in time. Hopefully we’ll use the PSD and Rookie draft to take some ‘mature’ 23/24 year olds who can slot straight in. A wing man to fill the Morabito hole would be good. See Pearce as a Roger Hayden type for the Dockers going forward
agree think Pearce is a good pick up but still think the Dockers are lacking in the key fwd and back depth, Pavlich needs another big man to help him down there. Freos little man dept is in good shape and will win them enough games to play finals again next year.
Doesn’t seem to be much interest in Clarke in the trade period yet.
Interesting to see they have taken their Sydney kid onto their list.He is a from all accounts a gangly(203) 19 year old, dreadys. Was among the best young basket ball talents going round.
I agree that Pearce will be a very handy pick up for us.Give us some more mid strength and run.
i think Lyons should play both Sandi and Griffin in the same side and push Sandi fwd for longer stints with Balla, Walters and Pearce around his feet.
Fremantle utility Adam McPhee has agreed to terms for a one-year contract extension.
The 223-game veteran has committed to the club through to end of season 2013.
great to hear that Smokey has re-signed with the club.
He had a very good season.
