Vaughan Williams

I see we have a new recruit in Vaughan Williams, not on our Senior list but appears in the player sponsor list, anyone know much about him ? Played for Claremont Colts a few years ago and most recently with the Swan Valley FC.

oh he’s a ripper! will need a WAFL pre-season or 2 under his belt but smooth mover with nice skills. Outside mid I’d say at WP.

I’m glad he’s having a go at WAFL again.

Cheers Viper, look forward to seeing how he goes

My friend who likes Claremont showed me afl. I live near the arena so I like the falcons.

Ominous signs, only pre season I know but joondy smashed their biggest threat imo for b to b and old easts had a pretty good side in too! joondy are definitely the hunted

We were the hunted since the GF win. I like our side again this year and SHOULD go ok.

it’s only a scratchie and although the signs are good so far as they say it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon. Can’t remember the last time a premiership was won in pre-season! I notice Zac Guadagnin and Troy Yukich didn’t suit up for either grade so I don’t know if yourself or Winger know if there any problems(injury wise) there or just resting.Would also be interested in how Mallard went.

Super Yuka has a back injury, Guads, work commitments and Thompson still has a foot injury. Mallard was quite good but Jasper Scaife was exceptional, he’s ready for league. Rowen Garlett, Joe Hinder and Rudy have started an out reach program where they will be going around the country towns and talking to the local boys and try and get them down to the club.

thanks Winger.Hope Yukich is not long term injury wise hence my question on Mallard.Interesting comments on Scaife. He is a good size and kicked a few goals in the colts last year when he could play.Could he take over the Hamp role this year or is that a bit hopeful given he hasn’t debuted yet?He certainly seems a talent and if i’m not mistaken is in Fremantles NGA system. Also, good to see the club proactive in the country recruiting area with those 3 boys going out to the various clubs.
