v WCE

West Perth doing great so far. Absorbing pressure yet score board is very close. West Perth looks dangerous whenever they get the ball. West Perth are far too quick for West Coast Eagles.

Only 14 pts the margin at half time. Eagles need a couple more. West Perth defence has holes but their forward line looks dangerous when they got the ball.

Possession count is about even.

Time for a hamburger, hot dog, chips, chicken roll and a soft serve ice cream.

West Perth kicks the first goal of the second half and are charging back into this competition. West Perth starting to get on top of the West Coast Eagles.

Gee turtle…I think I must be watching a different game. 15 scoring shots to 7 and 56 i50’s to 22. The jerkers are still in it but they must start taking the chances they’re getting in front goal and limit the overuse of handball on a slippery day.

Joondalup is one of the better ovals in the WaFL. If West Perth gets the next two then it’s game on.

Enjoying a coffee and another soft serve ice cream.

Sunny here now so West Coast needs two goals to win the match.

Even though the inside 50 count is lopsided West Perth looks dangerous every single time they do enter the 50.

9 points the margin now. West Perth should finish over the top.

Four points in the game. West Perth playing the better football.

West Perth played really well, but cost themselves the game by some mistakes down the stretch.

They can now stack their reserves side next week.

Ouch!!!

Good fightback by West’s.Thought they where home when they hit the front late in the game.
All the best to Andrew Strijk in his retirement from Wafl footy. One of the most polished footballers running around in the Wafl in the last decade.
If Nick Nat doesn’t play on Thursday night. Can the dunny brush play for Wafl WCE on Sunday. Lolol.

He lost about 100 bucks, big deal, don’t know what you’re getting excited about jacknsprog

ahhhhh shit

You bloody bewdy.
Great result for WA footy.

Very, very disappointing result! :frowning:
West Perth only having 2 goals on the scoreboard at half time was a poor effort given the importance of the match. Is their lowest first half score all season given they’ve averaged 35 points. And 43 points is their average second half score. Not a good day to be below average and West Perth walking off the ground at match end with a 3 point loss. :frowning:
Next week, giddy up go Claremont!!!

Close games was the order of the day.
Colts go down by 4 points I think, but still in the series.
Reserves had a strong win considering the conditions.
League played catch up footy all day but did hit the front in the last qtr losing by only 3 points I think, sad to see Strijk play his last game, one of my favourites.

But anyway that’s it for Father’s Day ..

You blokes certainly had a red hot crack but just fell short. I thought you were home especially when whoever it was soccered the ball but then it hit the post with 2 minutes to go. if he had of used his hands to steady the ball a bit then soccered it who knows if the outcome would have been different. Congrats to Strijk…a terrific career and a bloke who can hold his head up high on what he has achieved in footy.

Close game like that could of gone either way BC.

I see Vardy got reported for a dangerous tackle, but we all know he’ll get off protect species and all.

Loopy stop it please. It gives me a hard on every time I hear the words Mineral Resources Park and Hungry Jacks in the one sentence. Kaching, Kaching $$$$. Anyway you coughed up home ground advantage in round 14 and took the cash. Bit like Sale of the Century, all that effort to get there then cut and run with the cash on the first night.

Then handed home ground advantage in a final you weren’t entitled to and still can’t take the chocolates. Oh well W.P.F.C … R.I.P.
