Another potential 8 pointer for both clubs…EF coming off the bye, after 2 good wins and Cl building momentum with some back to back wins.
Boekhorst out till round 19 with his shoulder injury, though a few to come back in Jansen, Turner, Baskerville and Marlin(test). Lawler retired, not sure after this weekends match or immediately. 3 × premiership player with a 144 game career.
Cl will definitely be hoping to exact some revenge for that shellacking by EF in round 2…EF hoping to repeat it.
Hear on the grapevine that East Fremantle are currently sitting on 1 $ 35c for the win. Claremont are quoted at 2 dollars 45c.
Interesting to learn that East Fremantle have won 4 of the last 5 matches between the 2 clubs.
Really has been a case of which EF side turns up to play this season.
How can we beat Claremont by 90 points earlier in the season and then put up that mediocre performance???
On a positive (if I can say that) we only lost by 9 pts, with quite a few who just didn’t turn up to play today. Well done to Claremont who wanted it more.
Consistently inconsistent this season. Well played Monts, wanted that 5th spot more and deservedly got it. Too many passengers today fir EF, hopefully that will be reflected at the selection table next Thurs night. Nice to have a Sat game next weekend…been a while.
