v CL

Massive game for WP today, win and we sure up a Finals birth, lose and we are in the chop up once again. These two sides have had some thrillers at Claremont Oval, the last 2 games have been on or after the siren wins. Rassmussen is on the injured last again and Gaudignan comes in.

Go Falcons !!!

Should be one of the games of the season mate & with equal luck we might be able to provide you guys a good other result

Wow what a win, wasn’t expecting that, slow start but settled and blew those collage boys away in the final qtr, far cry from the belting they handed us at home, we have improved vastly…well done boys ?

In the last few games we have started off slow, we have let the opposition grab a few goals early and then we pick up the pace. Today again it was a slow start, but today it was different, we choked and bogged the game down early, what a good game by Delaporte in the ruck. Rudy, all he does is hit targets, he his rugged, majestic and committed. Next week is $$$$$$$$ V Falcons.

With Claremont you just have to keep with them on the scoreboard and they go from world beaters to a side that looks bottom 3. Agree with Winger, Delaporte played a ripper against his old club (may have found another Chris Keunen). Rudy is an out and out gun, unbelievable what he is doing atm, Valentine said to the boys at 3qtr time that Rudy is free to go where he likes so communicate and cover the loose man and it was the difference, Strijky stepped up and Cory Chalmers was good again. Finally our back half were outstanding in the 2nd half with James going off in the 1st qtr with a bad hammy, Nelson, Black and pierce were brilliant.

West Perth seem to be consistent at the right time of the year. Scoring eleven second half goals yesterday being a top effort. The Falcons efficiency level is steadily rising and they were sitting second last on the league ladder from weeks 2 to 4. Since then they’ve really turned things around and only lost 3 of the last 12 matches.

Yeh good win with 11 different goal kickers so they spread it around.
But on the down side young Prior broke his hand and one of our defenders looked to have done a hammy, couldn’t see who it was tho
