Was at the Grand Final at Boddington. fantastic pressure game of football. Boddington kicked with aid of the breeze and wasted it, Williams clawed back in the second quarter. Third quarter intensity went up another notch both sides turning it over under pressure, but Boddington got a mini break leading into the last quarter. Nip and tuck early in the last , Boddington just doing enough, then Williams powered back with some quick goals to bring the margin to less than a goal, but after ten minute of pressure football, Boddingtom eked out a goal to win by 8 points.
Boddington deserving winners, Williams gallant in defeat. Good to see a change of the guards as Williams had dominated last few seasons.
