Knocking off Man U first up 2 nil. Winning over hearts and minds in a hurry. I’m sure they’ll turn on him just as quick if the wins start drying up. Shame they lost Harry Kane. 2 all draw the first week against Brentford .
English fans are very fickle, but they seem on board with the attacking style of play. They have had a lot of boring defensive managers in the past.
Fickle Mikeh? me thinks not. The fans prevented the Super League, and support the lower leagues, old chap. I hope you never run into any ultras in the street. Again, Ange’s problem will be the chairman, whom flicks managers left right and Arsenal, so to speak.
mikeh., the fans got rid of the super league so they are loyal. He is better off without Kane, Spurs have failed to win owt in years. Obviously, Kane is not from an army family. This is why Don Revie always wore British khaki or royal blue when manager of Leeds U and England. Kane also seems to have forgotten Southgate’s remarks about Anglo-German history, when considerring this move to Bavaria.
a draw and 2 wins - yep going well so far…its been good to watch his games, really positive stuff.
I’m not sure about the nuances of the golden Greek Aussie’s daring formation, but he seems to be translating his record in the lower leagues on to the biggest stage of all,and giving myself and a couple of my mates who have had a little lick at the 23 to 1 odds to finish top 2,a fighting chance, and big Ange might just have the Midas touch.
Another 5-2 result. Ange fever is building. The media seem to love him too as he’s very honest and forthcoming unlike some of the previous primadonnas. The special one, lol.
Going along very nicely looking forward to a big game v Arsenal or City.
I’ve watched all the games so far, last weekend was all about the goals and attacking it seems to catch opposition sides by surprise but it’s a return to what English football was famous for decades ago.
Most of the wins have been v lowly clubs, Sheffield this weekend before a big London Derby v the Gunners.
This is probably the best Spurs have looked in years.
Cracks already beginning to appear at Spurs under the new manager. They seemed to lack goal kicking proficiency against Sheffield United. Better sides are going to hurt them at the other end.
And Jonathan Liew’s take on the new Spurs manager

Well Tottenham just gained a point against premier league powerhouse Arsenal, who finished 2nd last year to Spurs 8th,and confirmed why Big Ange was honoured with a manager of the month award, and makes a mockery of the previous ludicrous post.
Oh and another quiet tip about your news source Timmy, they like appealing for$1 donations from the public,so they’re not exactly a wing of News Corp.
Spurs players look like they are enjoying being out there and they were probably a bit unlucky not to win that game at a ground they havent won at since 2010.
Well good to see Ange win the manager of the month award. Spurs only prize in 15 years.
Speaking of ludicrous comments RL no shit Sherlock the Guardian is not owned by News Corp. I am sure you will agree a voice independent of ownership is a very good thing - just like a draw at Ashburton Grove lol.
Here is the match report no pay wall but feel free to donate if you have $1 to spare.

Well Timmy, I’m afraid with the statement that “cracks are already appearing under the new manager”and that they wil struggle against the better teams, couldn’t be further from the truth, and the match report you’ve so kindly provided us,also debunks your curious supposition, and it suggested that Spurs looked anything but out of their depth against a team they haven’t gained any points from since 2016,and created more scoring chances, and Arsenal were gifted 2 very lucky goals,as opposed to Spurs’s 2 clinical finishes.Do you also understand Timmy my boy, that Spurs lost their No.1 player in Harry Kane just before the new season was about to kick off,and expectations were quite low,yet they are undefeated, and have had the best start in a season for over 60 years, and as far as $1 donations go,I would rather steer it towards your footy club,so they can find some decent book keepers, who can avoid future salary cap breaches.
Yes RL my posts like most on ozfooty are subjective. The Guardian reporting is certainly less biased.
A point at Arsenal was deserved by Spurs. We looked a bit flat after the high of the mid week return to the Champions League. Really didn’t do enough to warrant a win.
But as the match report mentions who have Spurs beaten? Long way to go yet but the best start to a season for Spurs in many a moon. So at this stage the new manager is just another Spurs manager. They do seem to get through them.
Let’s see how they go at Liverpool and save the excuses because any club can trot some reason or another as to why a better result didn’t come their way.
Just on Kane why did he want so badly out of White Hart Lane?
Fair enough Timmy, your an Arsenal fan and I’m only watching Tottenham because of the Ange factor, who is someone i’ve been familiar with for over 30 years from the old NSL days when he used to play for South Melbourne Hellas, and I’ve watched his evolution as player(he managed 3 Socceroo appearances)and coach, and find that at 58 to crack a managerial role in the worlds biggest league is a huge feather in his cap,and if I’m being totally honest i can take or leave watching a soccer fixture, but found I have been enthralled watching his attacking brand of football football which has already gained him a cult following, although with my limited soccer IQ i can see that they need to temper the Keepers penchant for over possessing the ball in the penalty box particularly against the elite teams,as a couple of the turnovers nearly cost them dearly, but enjoy your flag Timmy my boy!
Cheers RL.

Still unbeaten now with two wins and a draw against 3 of the best in MU, Arsenal and Liverpool although the latter under controversial circumstances with Luis Diaz’s goal called offside by the 3rd linesman and not overturned on VAR. Disgraceful decision which the PGMOL have acknowledged. But can’t take anything away from Ange’s team that drew two red cards from the Liverpool players. Ange train keeps powering on.

What about the Tottenham morons who ran a “No to Postecoglou”campaign before he was appointed, what are they saying now??they’re probably licking his arse, and Saturdays win takes his home record across 3 leagues to 43 wins and 8 draws,an unbeaten 51 game run, although they were a bit lucky on the weekend with the 2 send offs.
